If we go out to a semi professional part time team Rodgers and Lawwell should be sacked on the spot thats how horrific it would be

 

Have to be light years better with the ball than last night and doing so with more pace and fluidity. Aside from the number of * poor passes that missed the intended target, even the ones that made it to the players, weren't exactly helpful to the receiver.

By the above I mean, just because it makes it to the player doesn't make it the right pass or good pass.

For example Janko in the 2nd half received a pass from Brown. Janko was moving at pace and had 5 yards or so of space in front of him. The pass from Brown forced Janko to halt his forward movement and control the ball. Instead of Brown rolling the pass onto his run which would allow Janko to go on the outside or maybe deliver a cross into the area. Janko ended up playing a pass inside, right to where it was easy for them to defend.

The quality of our players on the ball is a massive hinderence to the way Ronny and Rodgers want us to play. Indeed the goal last night, losing possession with players high up the field and then countered, isn't something new to those watching. Happened in Europe on numerous occasion and even in the lesser level of SPFL.

If we improve on this aspect alone for next week(bigger park and better surface)we should have more than enough to see off this side.

However as the quality of opponent gets better then it's still going to be an issue.

Why wouldnt they?

 

1. The Celtic Board are their own govern and will be removed or resigned on their own accord. By the way, Celtic is ran for the shareholders and shareholders only I know it may seem impossible to comprehend for some of our supporters.

2. Brendan Rodgers was appionted by the Board, the same Board that appionted Mowbary and others who put us through disaster.

No, they won't resign, they won't be removed because Pedros £1m is more important than embarrassment. If yous think its not about salary then yous need to take a hard look at yourself.

That also applies to this whole idea that we will spend. Everybody has already bought their season tickets yet people think they'll spend more money now because of this loss.

Serious question, are you * mental? You'd sack Brendan Rodgers if we lose to that side when he's hardly had time to get his feet under the table?

 

Crippling fear that Rodgers will persist with Brown in the team. Needs benched more than anything.

They won't will you just get that into your head and they can't "sack" themselves they are the shareholders of the Club.

Not sure if Stefan will still be here or if Kris will be fit, but would play both if available. Slag them off all you want but they're useful in the final third. Somewhere we were lacking critically last night.
