Premier League Years was on Sky Sports earlier on, it was 2011-12 season, and it just made me think how there was so many memorable moments in that season and how recent seasons just haven't compared.

I know Leicester won last season and it's a great underdog story of course, but for the most part, their season was just very consistent form which they managed to keep going the whole way through. Other than that, I struggle to think of many really entertaining matches and great moments happening.

That 2011-12 season had so many moments, the most obvious being City winning the title in added time but there was so many others. Man U beating Arsenal 8-2, City winning 6-1 at Old Trafford with Balotelli's "Why Always Me?" shirt, QPR 1-0 Chelsea when Chelsea went down to 9 men, Liverpool beating Blackburn 3-2 with a last minute winner in a really good match, Wigan beating Man Utd and Arsenal to save themselves from relegation, Everton scoring two in the last ten minutes to draw 4-4 with Man Utd, Crouch's goal vs Man City, Cisse's goal vs Chelsea, the Evra-Suarez debacle...I could go on. Nothing in recent seasons has come anywhere close.

This season might be a good one though with Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp, Conte etc all coming together and guys like Ibra and such coming in. Might be the best for a wee while.

If it clicks straight away with Pep then City, if not then Chelsea because I think Conte's an excellent manager and they've probably got the most well-rounded squad in the league and no European football will help.

So far away, you'll see the ball hit the cross bar and hear the smack 20 minutes later.

Swansea have made two seriously good signings, Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston (club record £15m).

Certainly replaced Andre Ayew and more.

Are people actually gonna watch the EPL this year? I think it's declined so much and not worth it. It's just kick and rush end to end nonsense for the most part. Would rather watch La Liga and Bundesliga outside of watching Celtic.

I'm more inclined to watch it this year with the players and managers that have come into the league. The last few seasons have been * to be honest, some great stories with Liverpool coming so close then the Gerrard slip and the Leicester story but a lot of the matches have been *. Hopefully this season will be a significant improvement in terms of how entertaining the games are.

Borja Baston and Llorente are really good signings for Swansea, if they can get a good partnership going they'll do well this season.
