Before posting the results, a word about the penalty scoring. Beause of the shift in the voting structure of the Jury (awarding/distributing points as opposed to ranking), each penalty is in fact worth 3 points, as 3 points is a majority of a given jurors score, effectively winning that vote, if that makes sense.

Just wanted to put that out there, because this wil be in place for the final also... And even more pronounced, but will get into that more later.

Anyhow, am ready to go, so time to get on with the show!

On paper this looked like it could be the toughest of the 3 match-ups.

Would that prove to be the case, once the 2 songs were graded though?

    Time to find out.

One match-up that was pure 80's head to head.

Who would be emerging victorious and on their way to the final, and who would be joining the Jury?

Both artists went into this round carrying penalties, but would it matter in the end? Who knows? Well, I do, but not telling just yet. :bbpd:

But with a penalty still to be taken into account, would the early lead be enough to offset this? :39:

Reggae was ruling the roost early on here, but there was still a long way to go, and with both acts having penalties to come into account...
