    That song takes me back to the Videodrome in Glasgow city centre back in the 80s, used to go there on a Friday night, was dating a cracking wee burd at the time, really happy times.

    The Lindella was in Buchanan street just to the side of the entrance to Buchanan Underground station and opposite were the Forbidden Planet shop is/was.

    For the time being it is a simple ranking structure.

    The artists will be placed in randomly determined groups. You will then rank the group/s that you are NOT in direct competition with. So say, for example, there are 12 (there is more than that, but just saying for example sake), divided into 2 groups of 6. You would rank the group that your artist is NOT in, 1-6. 1 for the one you like best, to 6, the least.

    Then when the votes are all tallied, the artist/song with the lowest score wins the group.

    For the first round (or two), there will be a play off. So even if your artist's first song isn't that well liked and ends up at/near the bottom of the group rankings, you still get a second bite at the cherry to stay in the competition, by going up against the artists from the other group that dinished in that/those positions also.

    Hope that this makes things a little more clear. :50:

    I will be trying to keep things moving for this comp, so expect roughly 3 day turn arounds when this comp starts (aside from play offs). ie, songs posted friday. votes to be in by monday night. Those in play offs have 24hrs to submit a song, then there is 24hrs for those already qualified for the next round to vote on these. Meanwhile those people can submit their second round songs etc, and hopefully if all goes to schedule, the second round will commence on thursday next week.

    Round 1 will stil be kicking off on Friday, but as I will be out most of the day and into the evening, the songs may not be posted until somewhat later than previously noted.
