A bit of redirection going on here ( from Engurlunds incredible run in the Euros) .

If our first round game had ended 0-0 nobody would have taken any notice.

But some sloppy play by Efe and clearly bored /lazy Bitton, and a good finish by their striker ( who also scored against Scotland) and its a DISASTER !!!

Two back to back humiliations with two different managers.
    They're lapping it up.

Of course it's made up, you can see it's not all proper sky graphics for a start.

If people were a bit more wise they'd realise the team they put out in the previous round are a professional club therefore making the whole thing pish.

It was about the most believable line too, but even that wasn't true.

Absolutely embarrassing obviously. But hopefully Brendan now knows most of our players aren't good enough.

Bratislava taught Strachan certain players were finished. Hopefully this does the same.

I feel numb after watching that. Can't even summons the energy to feel angry yet.
I got up at 3am to watch this game, hoping to see signs of the beginning of a new era for Celtic. Instead I witnessed the most heartless lackadaisical gutless effort that would make some of the performances of last season look monumental.

Ambrose must certainly have played his last game in a celtic shirt. I'm not holding him solely responsible like some people seem to be doing but he made 3 or 4 howlers against a team of part-timers, luckily only one of them ended in a goal. As much as I love the guy, he's gotta go.

Bitton couldn't have looked less interested if he sat in the center circle and sparked up a splif. When he missed that rebounded shot he looked like he didn't give a *.

I'm trying not to be too negative or overreact but it's hard after watching that. Hopefully this is a wake up call and BR has seen just how * and heartless some of this bunch are.
    Huge investment is needed.

Rodgers NOT AMUSED, but keeping calm!!

Not * amused, and I KNOW he never held back

Looking back, having just listened to Rodgers after-match press conference here:
    Sportsound 12 Jul 16

Rodgers was VERY calm before the game and after the game, that is all he could do. He said it could end an easy win next week, we are not out. Rodgers said "We got a bit of work to do, but we will get through this next week, then look at the next round" Rodgers is showing class and character by calming EVERYTHING right down. Rodgers DID boot thier holes after the game, but GREAT MANAGERS DON'T PANIC. Rodgers knows this is bad, but if we win 5-0 next week, last nights score fades away.

Hard night troops, but lets talk about it after next Wednesdays game.
I trust and believe our manager will get us through this with ease in the end. Ronny/PL/Board handed Rodgers a complete mess, Rodgers knew when we met him with 13,000 fans the job he had to do, the mess, he WANTS TO FIX, was already there. He never told lies, got things done as he was handed this mess.
But right now we need CALM..Last season we now know, Ronny said it "We were just happy to win at the end of games, it was more relief" So these players are scared, but I think Rodgers can dispose of the crap players and get the confidence back. It is very early for Rodgers, he is learning on his feet by the day! Last night showed him he MUST do hard things now, long term thinking (Example?) Brown etc gone, they are just scared or something, whatever happened between Lenny going and Ronny going must have been more severe than rumors suggest. Rodgers won't * around between now and next Wednesday. We WILL get through the tie, but Rodgers 100% knew the 'Honeymoon Period' would end, or could have ended like this. He knew the mountains he had to climb over and an 'Alleged' squad so divided certain players left/were sold or were not taken on tour, injured or not, the rumours, who was missing..(Example) Why Mulgrew not at least training @ 80% to not get possible injury obviously, but not keep himself with the squad should he signs contract and would have been almost as fit as the rest? Why did this not happen? Is this dressingroom still split? If it is, Brendan is keeping the fans calm till he can fix it for us...Sadly that will take time

Least we know where the problems are!! So does Rodgers!

I didn't know there was a split in the dressing room? Is that from the time Commons went nuts with the bench when he was subbed? Who is divided?

It sounds like it could just be a rumour.

With that picture of Broony are you suggesting it's him or is that just a coincidence?

How many players do we have out injured btw? Boyata, Simunovic, Mulgrew, Commons, GMS? We could really do with Chico and Jozo back. Commons is usually handy for us in Europe too. Are they due back soon?

To be fair it's half time.
We win 5-0 next week and we get through the tie.
If we fail next week the players should be made to write a 10,000 word sorry and all players read it to Miss Summers...

I think Boyata, Simunovic are 2/3 weeks away, Mulgrew isn't signing the contract, Commons just had surgery right?, GMS I don't think helps, McGregor would play before Brown for me, never mind GMS..

Lot of stories Stokes had a bad one with Ronny, we seen Commons screaming at the manager, so there is a bit of weight behind what happened under Ronny m8, but yeah, could just be a rumour.

That 4-2-3-1 is howling. Name me one team who play that successfully without a class act in the hole behind the striker.

Never saw the game due to the time, was assuming it was going to be an easy win so thought id rather get sleep instead, thank * I never stayed up now! Anyway, 1-0 not a disaster, its embarrassing but we can overturn that easily, if we don't then it is a * complete disaster!
