The striker that scored spent 6 year's in jail for selling class a's and can't train on certain day's as the met police use the pitch :56:

Holy *. Pal just sent me that..

    * poor stuff. Created little despite having the majority of the play(75% at one point). Ambrose and the defence seem to be getting all the flack, yet as mentioned before we had all of the play and done little with it. Ambrose misjudged the bounce of the ball and they took advantage, meanwhile we struggled to retain possession never mind do something with it.

Harsh goal disallowed and if that along with the performance wasn't enough to make you think we weren't going to get anything. Then the two Griffiths effort, the first deflected onto the bar by the defender and then the free-kick aff the * bar. * me!! We did have chances but never caused them enough problems, played everything in front of them and made it pretty comfortable.

Lethargic performance, physically as well as mentally. Players continue to let themselves down. Ciftci and Armstrong provided at least some urgency into the game.

Tonight is what it is. Big response needed by the players in the coming days and a chance to redress the errors next week.

We badly lack leadership in the team, the spine is too weak. A commanding centre half, leon brittain to replace bitton because he should be punted asap, a good midfielder who can get up and down and is a leader and a left winger who can score goals and link attack. Griffiths on the right is ridiculous as well hes wasted there. After tonight we need to invest in the spine of the team. Massive changes needed. 5 players who will come in and be mainstays for a few years I'm praying is wha we aim for.

The Met Police use the pitch?

It's the only pitch that every team in their league uses. And that is fact. :31:

A lot of * that 'fact' thing.

I doubt he'd be a copper if he spent 6 years in jail.

What's the point of these heaps of drawn out summer friendlies we play every year if this is all we get in return, whatever we have been working on and learning about the team has been a complete waste of time and money all being out there in Slovenia.

99% of this forum would have made a better job of team selection than that tonight so what on earth is going on, has Rogers not seen any videos from last season, that alone would be enough to guarantee Ambrose and Forrest would not have been in the squad, those in the back room staff who were here last season clearly have no wisdom either from what I can see.

This is a pure embarrassment and a kick in the teeth to the fans but the only positive slant is it could and should wake up Brendan to the fact that many need shipping out pronto, replacing the likes of Ambrose should be a basic managerial task

playing devils advocate, Brendans also hoping to keep players that might be off sweet and get a good fee or get them to re-sign a new contract and then flog them, also hes got to start a fresh for all he knows the last coach is the reason their preformances were crap and or their form had went to pot

Think tonight vindicates Deila a wee bit. The players are pish and Biton is a feeble, weak and lackadaisical arsepiece.

Thought Brendand would have wised up though, he's 10x the manager Ronny is and yet went with bombscare Efe? Griffiths out wide, *?

Edit: Although I get that Ronny signed a good few of these bams aswell which doesn't help. :87:

Played far too slow as we did last season in Europe which really annoyed me. After falling below we should have been more direct apart from making a useless 4 yard pass.

Bitton looked awful tonight. His first touch, albeit the pitch wasnt great, was abysmal. I would much rather play Scott Allan who drives at players and plays through passes. Bitton and Brown think that keeping the ball is everything and sideways passes keeping possession is everything but at stages you have to take a chance and drive at people trying create something. The lack of fight in the time is worrying, Bitton once again out muscled and out fought, id flog him when we can still command a decent fee for him. Hopeful we pull out the stops and bring in a few players but it seems like Ive been saying that for a good few years now....

Griffiths scores 40 goals and he's got to move for Dembele ? - Rodgers hasn't done ANY homework on that team in 4 weeks. Plays sick note and Bitton Both want to LEAVE. AND worst of all he plays Calamity Jane. * 90mins in and already were * miserable...Why is it always Celtic..* 1 step forward 3 steps back !!!!!

I make that just 8 goals in our last 8 European games. During which time we've played Malmo, Molde (x2) and Lincoln Red Imps.

People are always on about the defence but going forward we're awful.
