Tie's not over by any stretch (even if they score IMO - reckon we could take 3 or 4 at home) but tonight was embarrassing; no other word for it.

75% possession with no creativity and very few clear cut chances; defence was a shambles for the goal.

We came close on a few occasions but close isn't good enough against a part-time team in a part-time league based in a country with one of the worst UEFA coefficients in Europe and managed by a * dentist.

Pitch played a part in the goal and the performance and we were unlucky at times with our shooting but not luck, the pitch nor Ambrose can be blamed for this - we were * poor back to front.

I have no doubts whatsoever about us winning the tie but the squad needs an overhaul.

Everything bar Griffiths, Sviatchenko, Rogic, Tierney and the new guys out, players worthy of the shirt in; spare the captain, Gordon, Izzy and Bitton as benchwarmers if we're being generous. Rodgers needs to show that he will not put up with this crap from a Celtic side.

Aye I mentioned that game earlier because we nearly came back from it in the return leg :smiley-laughing002:

I was just thinking it wasn't the worst because they were in the Slovakian first division at the time.

Not that there's a whole lot of difference in the shade of riddy mind you :52:

Really poor performance to state the obvious. Need to see huge improvements for the second leg and I'm sure we will.

Took us 35 minutes to get a shot at goal against * part timers. Side to side and backward passing, especially from Brown. No * invention at all and not even the ability to go old school and lump the ball in the box when we were behind late in the game. No one played any way good. Even Tierney, the only bright light from last season, was rotten. Brendan Rodgers is very quickly finding out what Ronny found out last 2 seasons. You can have all the fancy formations, tactics and sports science you want, but if you dont have the players who are good enough to implement them you're *. These players are either too * stupid to learn or dont have the ability. Ronny never learned that and persisted with them and it cost him his job. I do hope BR learns quickly, although i cannot believe he hadnt seen or heard of Efe Ambrose before he came here and still he picks him.

I still think we'll go through. Just.

I highly doubt we'll make the group stages again this year. Not Rodgers fault. He's picking up the pieces from Deila's mess. Questionable positions for players and playing Ambrose, but all managers seem to fall for that trick. What a * Ambrose is.

Have to say this the most embarrassing results I've seen as a Celtic Fan. Even if we get through this result is * shocking.

Beaten from Artmedia or beaten from the Imps.... Everyone has their opinion on what's worse but why? We should never have lost either.

I think we will turn this around but I have absolutely no confidence we will qualify for the group stages until real changes are made to the team.

This must be the most embarrassing result in Celtic FC history.

Yes another Ambrose mistake lead to the goal, but where was the fight and passion from our team. There was plenty of time to address this setback, but far too many of our players went into hiding.

Briton didn't look as if he wanted to be here, Janko does look good enough even against this class of opposition , question marks too about Christie.

Rogers certainly seen the dark side tonight, the board and Bredan have a very busy week ahead of them to get the good feeling back in the club.

Because the players have hid behind managers for too long. Most of them aren't fit to be in a Celtic shirt. Happy to take the wages and put in mediocrore performances in front of paying fans. I hope Rodgers puts a rocket up some of their arses and tells them straight - if you don't start playing for the shirt you'll be in the reserves. Plenty of hungry youngsters in our academy that would happily take their place.
