very obvious disadvantage that pitch ,they judged the bounce better than us ,but the shocking thing to me was we never got to grips at any time with it ,armstrong has beeen our best performer pre season and was left out ,which i dont get ,dembelle looked poor but no pass marks for any player tonight ,everyone was bellow average ,there was no pace no penetration no energy ,it was the maribor game all over again .we will beat them easily at cp ,but that is a worry watching that no matter how bad the pitch was .

 

Chant aw yer pish about we'll get through in the next leg... but if this was the group stages we would have just dropped 3 * points to a part time team..... sobering

 

agreed man. hes a lazy uninterested half hearted big *. but so is most of that team.

On a positive note.
We DID get beat of a team that has just won 14 leagues in a row.

can anybody tell me why we trained last night, and also trained today before the game, surely to * training today and then playing was a bit much, even thought they are part time, we never seemed to do ourselves any favours

 

Janko's got a first touch like an old granny and for someone with blistering pace he doesn't use it to good effect IMO, as for the rest well a think the obvious one at the back was horrific but there was so many people wearing that jersey not any better than him to be quite honest!! the passing ... slow boring predictable and easy as * to defend against... everyone can argue among themselves and have their say but the bottom line is that was * gastly and we are the laughing stock yet again, neew manager new buzz for about 10 mins same old *.

 

On a positive note this might encourage our club to spend more.

Will people stop saying "oh but the pitch" seriously get a grip our team of professionals who get paid x amount every week got beat by a semi professional side, most are part-timers with other jobs. We should be able to beat them on the moon. Blaming the pitch is burying your head in it
