Bet you we win this like 1-0 since we're not up to speed yet then absolutely paste them about 7-0 at parkhead.

Rodgers 1st official media conference [Will add video later]

BRENDAN Rodgers admits it was a special moment for him tomorrow (Tuesday) night when he takes charge of Celtic for the first time in a competitive fixture.
Although the Irishman has taken the team for four pre-season friendlies over the past 11 days, he knows it will be completely different experience when he steps into the dugout for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round clash with Lincoln Red Imps.
He said: “I’m very much looking forward to it. It’s obviously come earlier than most do at this time in the season but it’s a huge privilege to lead out the team and it’s a game we are really looking forward to.
“I’m very proud and it’s all happened very quickly, with a lot of work going into the last couple of weeks. I’m really looking forward to it and I can’t wait for the game to get underway to see that relationship between the game and training.
“We have a long way to go yet before we will be ideally where I want us to be at but all the signs from the players so that I can look forward to this season. It’s going to be an exciting year for sure and it’s nice to get off to this start and hopefully we can get a good performance and a result.
Celtic will be firm favourites to put their part-time opponents to the sword over the two legs, but the manager has afforded Lincoln every respect, preparing his players thoroughly for the fixture which will be played on an artificial surface and in baking heat.
And while he’s been encouraged at the players’ application and attitude in the early weeks of his reign, the Hoops boss is aware that it will take time to fully implement his ideas on the team.
He said: “They are always tricky games and you have the surface as well, but our players have worked tirelessly over the course of the last 20-odd says since we have been together and I have been delighted with the improvements of them in terms of their fitness and technical aspects.
“Celtic is always the big attraction, the big draw, the big club. We are very proud to take Celtic to different parts of the world for our supporters and the players. Every game for us is a big game. There is no game that is bigger or smaller.
“Of course you have a different level of opponent but for myself and the staff it doesn’t change in our preparations and there is a huge expectation on the Celtic players to do well.
“We still have a long way to go but this game presents us with an early opportunity that we have to take.
“We have watched Lincoln play and we understand they are very workmanlike and they have won over the course of two games to play against us. We will give them that respect, but the focus will be very much on ourselves. It’s a job we have to do over the course of two legs.
“With the heat and the pitch, it will make a it a little bit more trickier, but we will be ready for the whistle to go and hopefully put in a good performance.
“Pitches like that suit your technical-based players and thankfully we have a lot of them. But other than that, I’m pretty happy with the team we are thinking of playing and I’m looking forward to it.”
Stefan Johansen will miss the match after picking up an injury in the goal-less draw with Maribor on Saturday night.
“He’s probably two or three weeks away,” said the manager. “He had a scan and he just got a little nick in his ankle but we will see that over the next two or three weeks.”

Missing this. Will be watching on Celtic tv some time tomorrow.

I don't care how we do it as long as we win. Would be good for Dembele to get a goal. I'll go for 0-3.

    Mon the hoops!
