*, can't believe that site all of a sudden wants £7 a month just to show what's on. It's been free for years and Ive only used it for football. Spose it's handy if you watch a lot of different sports. Need to just use Sky and BT.

Great news it's on BT2 thanks.

Who are yous talking about playing out wide? I think if Rogic and Roberts and in the same side it will be a bit narrow unless it's 4 4 2 mixed with 4 2 2 2? Jeez, feels like a long time trying to predict teams and formats.

Aye I'm of the opinion because it's his first season I don't care how we quality as long as we do, then we can start thinking about setting up the way he would like us to play. Just qualifying is so important it can't be stressed enough.

I saw that, very tempting however it wouldn't surprise me if we went into the first half and just passed it around to tire them out and went in at 0-0 and came out to destroy them second half, would like to think not but you never know.

Possibly, although in that heat I wouldn't have thought we'd be the ones trying to tire them out. I think 2-0 first half 1-0 second half.

Does anyone else find it ridiculous how strict the ticketing system is for a game like this?

I understand it's short notice and the club want to have control over who is in the ground but it is shocking that there will be many Celtic fans heading to the game who won't be able to get a ticket simply because they are not a season ticket holder. There will be many empty spaces in our end yet many people wanting to buy a ticket who can't. I know a guy who has been living in Spain for the past 3 years, from Glasgow originally and had his season ticket for 16 years until he moved yet can't get a ticket for the Celtic end now.

Fully understand security reasons and the need for the authorisation but common sense needs to used at times.

I'm travelling to Oxford tomorrow and was worried I'd miss it but thankfully I've got the BT Sport App so I should be set! Hopefully the locals don't mind my accent! :fear:

I thought you only needed a passport to prove who you are? Can't you buy tickets from abroad online to prove who you are? How do all the American and Scandinavian fans get in?

I just watched all of Griffiths goals for us after reading that Brendan told him he had analysed his goals from last season and seen he was good at cutting in from the right onto his left foot, this is to make way for Dembele through the centre. There's nothing wrong with that suggestion except for the fact it leaves Roberts not getting a place in the first team (and after the form he finished the season in isn't right).

But having just watched all of Griffiths goals for us he actually scores a good chunk of his goals from the left hand side smashing them across the GK. Hopefully Brendan will realise his versatility and ability to play there instead of the right which would then make room for Roberts because he's too good a player to be leaving out of the side. The start of the video below shows Griffiths scoring a lot of his goals from the left hand side of the pitch on his stronger foot.

    Roberts-------Dembele-------Griffiths

Should be the 3 in attack

Easy solution. Play Patrick Roberts on the left. This will allow us to get the waste of space that is James Forrest out of the team.

Are we getting deducted a goal in the 2nd half? Low blow? Kidney punch? Headbutt?

Or that, but that's something Brendan hasn't tried yet from the start of a match. He's already started with Forrest, Henderson and Christie wide left of a front three but has yet to use Roberts there which tells me he doesn't think he'd be very effective there. Hopefully Roberts starts tomorrow but I'm a bit nervous we won't be seeing Roberts starting at all for us mainly, especially when he brings in his left hand side attacker (With us being linked to Sinclair for e.g.).

Funny thing is though, he scored all these goals cutting in from the right, whilst playing through the middle. Maybe created the chances himself through his movement to create space for himself out there. Will he have the same impact if his starting position is out on the right?

Just throwing that into the mix by the way, devils advocate and all :icon_mrgreen: personally, I'm not too fussed as long as we score goals, play well and win! :ynwacelti

I don't think he will have the same impact

Forgive the daft question but because Roberts is on load is there any specific rules in place regarding which position we develop him in?
