    You over-estimate your enigma.

    If anyone dislikes him because he's not Catholic, or not Irish then they certainly do have a problem. I am not sure if that is a reason for many people though.

    You know my views on how he conducts himself.

    There is a third reason though which is that there are valid football-based criticisms.

    I'm not saying he was sneaky hammer, i'm just pointing out why folk accuse him of slipping into a job above his station.
    For the record, i don't blame him for that, it was a business decision by DD, GS just accepted an absolute gift.
    The thing is though hammer, i'd also like the all knowing Doctor to give me a straight answer to this question;
    Before the appointment was made, basically when it was a rumour a month or two before MON left, were you thinking "this is a good move, he's a great manager?" or like me was your reaction "no way that wee * will ever manage us"

    YouTube - Celtic v Hearts

    The guy is as passionate as they come. Whether he is a tim born and bred is immaterial to me - bring on next wednesday

    It was a business decision made by an extremely succesful businessman that rarely makes bad choices it seems.

    I agree hammer, i just think people should see it for what it was, much ike the McLeish appointment for them. the way the wage bill was and the average age of the team, i can understand why the decision was made to go cheep.

    So my options are

    a) this is a good move, he's a great manager

    or

    b) no way that wee * will ever manage us

    My reaction was to go for secret option c) I'll do what I've done with every other manager since I've been watching Celtic and judge him on results and trophies.

    Alright, i'll take your word on that, no reason to dis-believe you.

    Answer me this then Doctor, if celtic and WGS part company at the end of the season and the board on high, or dermot desmond dictates (which seems to be our recruitment policy) theat Greame Souness is the man to take us forward,your response to this will be;
    secret option c) I'll do what I've done with every other manager since I've been watching Celtic and judge him on results and trophies.

    Bare in mind this is hypothetical, i don't want to discuss whether it would ever happen.

    Slight difference there Lubo. We have reason to hate Souness.

    Souness for celtic?? its like saying tommy burns for rangers. better example is needed there lol. never going to happen.

    I could not give a * the way wgs comes across, as long as he keeps on doing what he is doing, and that is being a success at celtic.

    Dont think anyone on here can say he has not been that.

    If berti voghts got the job and won 2 league titles, 2 cups and took us to the champions league last 16 twice in 2 years, i would say the same as wgs.

    I dont give a * if wgs was lucky, mon was not we got knocked out, so what.

    Every team that wins that competition rides there luck at times. thats football.

    If mon done what wgs done this year people would not complain.
