    The only way i would see him coming to Celtic is because of the chance to play European football.
    If an EPL club, that's playing in Europe next season, came in for him then there is no chance he would come to us.

    Can't see us paying more that £30,000 a year to anyone unless we get into the CL groups every year or its for a short loan spell like Robbie Keane.So can't see this happening unfortunately.

    Couple of months ago I would have laughed at the chance of a signing like this, but the Brendan effect (and higher expectations) has raised the possibility it may happen.

    We've more chance of signing Bale, Ibra, messi, Ronaldo and the rest of world best best players then that have got of ever signing ings, they'd go bankrupt for the first time in their history trying to sign that type of player.

    However if we can get him, then every effort should be made, his stay may be short of he does well but he would be quality up here.

    There is absolutely zero chance of him joining the orcs, ffs they've barely got a penny to rub together and have clearly put all their eggs in the Barton basket. Them looking to sign a 37 near 38 year old CB shows exactly the situation they are in.

    Danny Ings would be more likely to join us anyway even if it was a possibility what with us hopefully having European football and also the fact Brendan was the man in charge when he signed for Liverpool.

    On a side note hard to believe this guy is only 23 years old looks well older he also reminds me of the small guy that gets angry in the movie Elf.

    Use all mad if think ings going anywhere. Who comes up with this crap been linked with every man and his dog lazy jornos as per usual and as far as rangers pull the other leg. He on 80k a week. And played 9 starts before his injury he signed for 5 years. So unless we have 10 to 15 million books chance and as far as huns and biscuit tin amd looking at 38 year old players in championship it's a total non story. Move on now next player we going be linked with as seems every player we are in for so is rangers. Total joke getting bored of it now..... Probably won't even know. Till player arrives as celtic do there bugs essential hush hush like we have done for years
