Seems dodgy as * if you ask me, its safe enough to assume that virtually anyone who manages to escape a building being attacked by a madman, is going to be off like a dug out of trap one the min they see a chance to escape.

 

This is along the same lines from another source and when he describes the door being held shut they cut him off.
