TC Mafia: OnSite Game

Thread re-opened just in case Taz is typing up a response to the thread.

 

Vinnie, Keano & Slaw have elected to lynch.

Day 7

Minty was the quiet unassuming type. Unfortunately in this town - quiet and unassuming could get you killed real quickly. And as the lynch mob formed, after Moustache was taken out the night before, the writing appeared to be on the wall. In blood, of course. Minty's attempted to barter for his life fell on deaf ears, knowing this could be his last day.

"Who me?? W-wait no.. I'll do whatever you want! J-Just tell me where to vote!"

Hmmm.. that sounded just like something a Mafia member would say. The town's accusations had quickly swung throughout the course of the game, all through which Minty had kept a low profile, busying himself elsewhere around the town. Now, was it too late? The remaioning townies chased him up to the top of town hall, and continued to press him in. With no chance of escape, darting this way and that, every exit blocked off, and a final cry of defiance, pointing the finger at Vinnie, as ever closer they pressed. Before he even knew what was happening, one blade slid between his ribs.

"This one is for Duke"

The voices added to the chorus...

"And this for Scotia"

"for Tim Time"

"...for Obaf"

"and for L"

Vinnie stepped up, as Minty raised his * hands, but it was over, as the final blow was struck...

"...and Moustache"

Minty, slumped dead. A bloodied hand holding a card, slick and stained with that same blood.













































It was all over!

Congratulations Town!

You hav successfully rid yourselves of the mob in your midst.

Thanks to all the players, and to our 3 Mafia, Summer, Che & Minty, am sure you enjoyed getting the blod on your hands, but mob justice caught up with all all in the end, haha. But thanks for being such excellent mafia in something that few ofg you had much idea about at the outset, so to be put in this position definitely deserved chops for that.

And just to prove that this was entirely random:



Roles corresponded with the numbers that were selected/elected for at the beginning for the game, as they were all done at random.

I'd also like apologise to Keano for accusing him of being Mafia for like 3 rounds, I definitely got that one wrong :smiley-laughing002:

For anyone curious, I chose to protect Vinnie in the last night phase there instead of going with my original plan.

 

I need to get some sleep, but I promise will dole out the prizes in the morning, tomorrow night at the latest, if I sleep in and in a mad rush, considering you * kept me up all night when I shouild be fast asleep, as always on a Friday, lol. Any other day no problems, but it had to finish with a flourish on a friday didnt it? lol

 

I wanted to kill Vinnie when we killed JC Anton, then I told Che to vote to lynch Vinnie so we could get 2 in one night. Knew we were * when Vinnie piped up earlier.

 

I'd like to point out that, even though I did probably accuse every single player at some stage, I did get it right at one point :smiley-laughing002:

Forgot to say it in my last post, but thanks for taking the time to run the completion Taz, it was a lot of fun ( I also appreciated the moustache joke in my death write up)

 

Taz.. We could maybe have a player of the round and dunce of the round awards that get passed on from game to game?

 

I feel like Scotland in every qualifying campaign ever. Glorious failure.

I enjoyed getting accused, I knew it would keep me relevant to the Mafia.
Then if yous lynched me and found out I was town, you possibly would have went Che, so some good would have came from my death at least :smiley-laughing002:

You can't trust anyone really, had doubts over everyone at some point.

 

Great game Taz. I'll have to admit, I * it up a couple of times. But people asking for investigations and *....I could only use that ONE time. Used it on the wrong person. (Slaw) But at least I knew he wasn't mafia by then. Tracked Che next (random pick tbh.)and found out he was out doing * at night. So it wasn't too difficult at this stage anymore. Only one I hadn't tracked of the people alive I think was Minty. The one I least expected. There was movement from him too, so he had to be the last mafia guy. Amazed you did not kill me after I turned in Che.


Only question that remains. Am I good at this game or did I get lucky?

You pick as I'll be there again next time.

Yeah, you guys missed your opportunities to kill Vinnie, even before he had publically declared himself the cop.

Keano, you have got one * of a good instinct for this. Go back and read through this thread. Time and time again you had Che and Minty pegged as being the mafia, but kept double guessing yourself or being talked out of things by L or Slaw or whoever else, whe your instinct was so often spot on.

Che was the MVP of the game, IMO. So many times able to wriggle out of spots when seemed inevitible he would be lynched, and had so many convinced of his innocence. Had the town not lynched Obaf, thought this had the hallmark to be a fantastic battle of wills, lol.

Everyone played their part in aa fantastic game though. Well done! Especially considering so many novices that had no idea what this was all about at the start. Thanks for trusting and taking the leap of faith, and giving it a go!
