    I used to like listening to Ronny's pre and post match interviews.
    But Brendan's interviews take it to another level again.
    Could listen to him all day talking football, and very gracious, respectfull and honest to his opposing managers and teams.

    “We’re going into a different competition now so it’s important the club continually moves forward,” he said. “It’s important that we invest that wisely.

    “There’s a number of areas and ideas that we’ve looked at. I want a creative player, but there’s still a little bit of time to do something. There’s lots of keen interest for really good players to want to come here. So we’ll see what we can get."

    Asked if qualifying for the Champions League group stages made Celtic more attractive to signing targets, Rodgers said: “It’s certainly does. If you’re in this competition then players get excited by that. They want to play in the big games. It’ll be an attraction for sure.”

    Wonder if he's interested in any of his ex players. Saw someone on KDS saying something like "Conor Coady from Wolves...just saying". Not sure if it was a suggestion or a rumour.

    6'1 defensive midfielder and seemingly highly rated. Rodgers gave him his Liverpool debut.

    I'd like a real top class CM brought in or someone with a bit of pedigree. We have the money now, make it happen!

    Someone like Coady would be good alongside that, mind. We still need 2 CM's for me.

    I guess it would given who we've signed and the money we have, but bargains are still there to be had. Him and McCarthy would be perfect.

    I agree about needing 2 CM's. Right now we only have 2 that I feel can do a job in the CL, Brown and Bitton (who needs to up his game).

    I think we need two CM's and a right back.
    Caveat being that Henderson could be promoted to the team
    at the expense of McGregor, Brendan seems to see something in Henderson he likes.That would leave us the option of bringing in another CM in the January window.
    So for instance we could see a midfield trio of three in Brown- McCarthy - Henderson for example.
    And depending on other midfielders exiting or remaining on loan, another younger midfielder but equally combative, brought in either now or January.
    And we might also need another left back if Izzy leaves this window.
    Biton could also leave this window

    A bit worrying that his number one target seems to be a creative player.

    We are crying out for a midfield spoiler first and foremost. A creative player in the middle would be great as well but I think the need for a solid quality DM is paramount.
