The bit at the very end of the video where Brendan takes it upon himself to talk about how they team have been treated over in Israel and that Be'er Sheva have a really good team.

Total touch of a class, what a manager and man we have at our club.

It's kinda telling that his signings were the best performers tonight, other than Sinclair and Toure we reverted back to the gutless incompetent performance that was so akin to the last year or too in Europe. They, and even dembele when he came on, were the only ones that didn't look * scared out there.
It's going to take a but of time to get a bit of steal back in this team, hopefully a few more quality signings will speed up the process.

For the first time his substitutions did not work. Still love him though.

Sviatchenko coming on and going to 3 at the back worked.

Debatable. I think we are extremely lucky to have got out of their alive.

As do I but we looked slightly more comfortable with the 3 CB's in there.

Despite us not having any of the ball for pretty much all of the game they didn't create tonnes and tonnes of clear cut chances. Even their goals came from poor defending and errors from us.

Last 20 mins when we switched to that 3 I was expecting an onslaught but looking back, now I am calm, it wasn't that bad.

Gotta say, I thought Dembele atleast tried to hold the ball up and he almost scored (I swore he did). Erik came on and they never looked like scoring again.

My biggest disappointment tonight is our total inability to keep hold of the ball. It was like watching last year's match in Malmo. I thought Brendan would take that away. I thought he'd make us a team that could pass the ball under pressure. Maybe he still will, but tonight proved we are not there yet. Our passing was pathetic. We have much work to do.

We have to remember how early it is in his tenure as well.

It seems like he has been here for years almost due to this long pre-season we always have now but it has only been a matter of months.

He is still assessing this squad and tonight, or yesterday now, would have told him more about a few other players. Every game he will be learning something.

A couple more additions in the next week will be a welcome sign, too. Barring 3 or 4 players, this is still not his side. Much of that Deila squad who * up so massively in Europe is still lingering around. Some have shown they can improve and change their ways but question marks still hang over a few.

Yup. Have to stop sticking with McGregor so much firstly. I honestly can't remember him touching the ball more than 2 or 3 times all game.

And yes I am going to say it, Leigh Griffiths once again failed to hold the ball up. It is still a failing in his game. Wasnt his fault tonight though, just saying.

McGregor has no business playing Champions League football. That is not his level.

Last night would have been an eye opener. I'm thinking 3 players minimum will come in now. Also the pics above show his passion. Probably just made himself a right few quid too! Cheers again crow!

I don't think last night would have taught him anything he didn't already know to be honest.

I felt he got it spot when he brought on Sviatchenko. However, bringing on Rogic for Forrest was baffling. Mainly because I'm still not sure what our tactics were meant to be at the start of the second half. In the first half, although we were on the back foot for the majority of it, you could still see what our formation was, and who was playing in what positions, after half time, there didn't appear to be any sort of shape to us at all I felt. I thought we looked better when we changed to three at the back, but the second half setup was baffling in my opinion. His tactics and subs have been spot on up until now though, and we still made it through a very tricky tie.

Brendan is a clever guy, he immediately gave praise to PL and DD last night, he's saying look what we can achieve when some money is spent, we've got a great manager i really hope the Board continue to support him, give him the tools to make us a team who can compete in the CL.

Was a diamond when Forrest went off. He admitted that didn't work and then the 3/5-5/3-2 when Erik came on was much more effective, and we defended excellently from there on in..

I personally thought he got a few thing's wrong with the personnel firstly, then our defensive approach and change of tactics during the game.... But he'd rather learn a few thing's he's got wrong whilst winning, than he would catastrophically losing.... And so would I..

Silver lining in a lot of what happened last night. I'm just thankful it wasn't costly..
