Brendan Fraudgers!

love this guy . hope he is here for a long time

I know its early days yet but i reckon he will be. He had a great reputation when we got him, but deep down i feared we could have another 'yes man' at the helm especially after the red imps result. But compared to our previous mangers, Brendan seems to have the footballing nouse and more assuring tactics that coach Ronny lacked and the level headed, forward thinking that Lenny could have done with. The fans trust him and the players even more so, but his relationship with the chairman will be important, we have to be realistic from thier point of view but ambitious aswell in the long term. If they can get that right then he wil be our man for many succesfull years.

 

my fear is he will take us so far and be told he needs to sell in 3/4 years and he will leave after that . always take us so far and when they cant go further they will leave .

 

I remember the Juve game at CP it was incredible what their defenders got away with in their box, we were all pretty stunned. One of their fans mentioned that Conte had had the referee studied and his defenders knew in advance exactly what they could and couldn't get away with with him. This is the kind of detail the real top managers attend to.

And now we have a manager like that too.

 

There's no other manager in world football I'd take at the minute instead of Brendan his football brain is second to none we really have to enjoy him whilst we can

Thats true unfortunatly but i think theres big margin for success compared to our previous years. Brendan knows his priorities and will make sure we get to the group stages so we get the cash to build upon...hopefully

 

Sit back and relax and lets enjoy the next 3 or 4 years then because I can feel one * of a joy ride coming.

 

Personally I think he'll be here for 3 seasons although if he takes us into a fourth season the chance to lead us to the 10 (all things going to plan) would be too much but can't see him wanting to manage up here for 5 years. The lure of the EPL will always pull him away. If he experiences the Champions League & gets a few titles under his belt I think he'll see it as job done. Enjoy it while we can I think.

Glad to hear he agrees with the majority of us that we need 2 more players. He wouldn't say what positions but he can only mean GK and CM.

 

Says he wants two players in for two different positions. Centre mid and a goalkeeper would be my guess.

 

I could listen to Brendan all night and never get bored.

Definitely think he wantS a new Goalkeeper and possibly a centre mid, holding position.

Wasn't Ajer signed for the holding mid position? He's some size, would like to see him get more games there and see how he does.

 

He's just the * man . Incredible what a change he's made already...

 

Ajer will get his chance. You have to remember he's almost a full year younger than Tierney.
