Ronny talked a lot of * and a lot of people swallowed it, Brendan as has been said says it as it is but will know when to hang fire, he is a bit like O'Neill that way

I'm not saying he's thick btw. I think he's massively intelligent regarding the game.

Backs up what he says aswell and his 'philosophy' isn't set in stone, it's malleable and not entirely gobbledegook.

His interviews just seem slow and awkward at times. It's probably just some of the * the Scottish media ask him though.

Rodgers talks like a fan does. Not about mind games or anything of the sort, just says it as he sees it. Love it.

I know mate but I genuinely think you put too much emphasis on been polished in interviews be it in football or politics. It has been the determining factor over the last 20 years or so but before that results or policies were the determining factors and there has definitely been a general shift towards that again.

Brilliant mate. Listening to him speak is excellent and you really do believe he knows what he's doing, Brendan has a plan and I fully expect him to get us where he wants us to be.

Just say it out load to yourself Brendan Rodgers is the Celtic manager :35:

Couldn't be happier with Brendan's start as manager. Already seems to have drilled a winning mentality into the team with the good football bound to follow! Signings also look to have been spot-on in terms of quality and with what we are looking for. Also encouraged that he is still after two more players, presumably for the middle of the park. If we can sign a couple midfielders of the same calibre as Scott Sinclair then it will have been years since we will have had so much to be optimistic about at the club!:50::ynwacelti

I don't know if you saw the interview afterwards but I think he acknowledged that this was something that there was still a fair bit of work to do on. (Although he was happy we have made a start on it).

Very refreshing that we know how a manager who has a plan B and changes it up at the right time.

We are looking better and I hope he is backed further in the window because we still need more quality.

Main point for me is how he decided to make sure there was a strong winning mentality and passion instilled in the side before worrying about the technical and tactical side. Something we clearly lacked under Deila.

An intelligent approach, because it will take a while before the football side is perfected, but he can talk right away with each player and know who has the bottle and desire.

Speaks very well - as Deila did - but Brendan walks the walk too.

What an amazing feeling, having a manager who worked under mourinho for a number of years.

its also great to think we have a manager who has worked with world class players in gerrard, saurez, sturridge.and they all respect him and say good things about him.
