I don't know why people are turning on the manager. He's entitled to have picked the last 11 posters in this thread and expect a * result.

He needs to be ruthless and get rid of half the squad and bring some quality in. In almost every player's thread on this forum you'll see * about giving players a clean slate and how Rodgers need to assess each player. Naw, they haven't been good enough for over a year and they need to go now.

Every other manager starting a new club is out signing new players and getting rid of last years losers, except us who seem to think that THIS is the year of James * Forrest and Scott Brown will finally recapture the form of 4 years ago.

 

I think there's a lot of truth in that last sentence. Imo he's a fan of the way Ronny sets up but probably doesn't think Ronny was capable of pulling it off, how true that is remains to be seen. Personally I'm hoping he changes things immediately and sticks two centre forwards up top against Wolfsburg and in the second leg.

BR said last week we were working on bringing in 2 where the * are they, obviously Lawwell is fuckng at it again drawing it out as long as possible to save pennies.

I know he doesn't have much to work with but he some of his decisions tonight were genuinely bizarre. Brown and Bitton in a midfield three, what the * was he thinking? Rogic McGregor Allan for me.
