    You could listen to him for hours. He is very knowledgeable, and keeps you interested when he's speaking about tactics etc.

    I always remember an interview he did years ago when he was the manager at Swansea, where he said if given enough time he would build a team that were very difficult to beat, and played football the right way.

    He had Swansea playing brilliant football.

    I'd expect the transfer rumours to ramp up beginning or middle of June once he has his feet under the table, has met our scouts, got his backroom staff etc etc.

    It's all happened quite quickly for him, he was saying that today.

    That Liverpool 13/14 side were brilliant to watch I mind them ripping Arsenal apart at Anfield 4-0 up after about 12 minutes

    Todays scenes just highlight exactly what the club has been missing these last few years! I said after Ronny announced his departure that the board had to make a statement of intent with the next manager and with Brendan they have done just that! The thing with a club like Celtic is more than any other club in the world the support is the beating heart of the club! Give us something to get excited about and we will respond 10 fold! Rodgers salary will be covered and then some by increased ticket sales merchandising and exposure, a strategy I have been advocating in the transfer market for some time! Let's hope this is a dawn of a new era! An era of forward-thinking and optimism where the club strives to return to where we belong! Hail Hail and welcome Brendan Rodgers :50::ynwacelti

    I do t think Liverpool fans hold him in high regard. Infact there is resentment that they didn't win the league in 13/14. I find that ridiculous because individually that Liverpool team were average at best minus Suarez. They are deluded - they've not won it in 25 year.
