If we start banning commentators for saying ridiculous things, we're going to look very silly.

Aye made me chuckle. It was Derek Rae mate, not Ian Darke..

Big difference between ridiculous thing's, and bitter and quite dangerous comment's. This has been one of the main guy's on Scottish football for BT. He even said infront of Brendan eventually that "it probably was a penalty", but the damage had been done. He said in his own word's that CELTIC player's can just fall over at Celtic park and get penalties..

His comparisons with Jamie Walker were utterly bizzare. Although huns aren't rational thinkers. We do get them on these channels, we really do!.

We should hire Jim McLean for those guys.

I'm pretty confident that if one our players fouled in the box like that Sutton would say it was a definite penalty. He might be a Celtic fan but he's totally impartial.

There is a big difference between saying stupid things and calling into question the integrity of both Celtic players and officials in Scotland (as bad as they might be). When he is insinuating that Celtic get penalty decisions at Celtic Park whether there is contact or not, he is basically saying that our players will or have cheated in the past, and will get awarded the decision for it, if it's at Celtic Park.

When we got the penalty last night, he actually said "I wonder what Scott Brown will have to say about it." In other words, he was calling Sinclair a cheat, even though there was quite clearly a shove in the back, and it was a stonewall penalty.

Loved how he tore into that clown Craigan last night when he was trying to compare Sinclairs clear penalty to Walkers dive.

Nah, he wasn't. He was saying that big teams usually get decisions, especially at home (absolutely correct) and that this is why we got that penalty (rubbish). He wasn't accusing anyone of cheating.

Aye he did. He said well I wonder what Scott Brown will say about that one after saying it's not a penalty, directly comparing it to Brown's 'cheat' comments and the SFA ban handed out to Walker.

Started saying you get that at Parkhead even if there's no contact. Talking absolute *.

i think its entertaining watch him pull up all the biased comentators and * referees, btsports are doing us all a favour having him on the pundit team.

the ronnie comments although harsh were ultimately true and i like ronnie but he didnt handle the job well a lot of the time

why didnt the board spend the £2m a year on a manger in 2014 as a result of not doing it they/we possibly lost £50m

Aye, he was. When he says I wonder what Scott Brown will think of that, he is basically accusing Sinclair of diving. He is making reference to Brown saying Walker was a cheat only a few days earlier.

Then when he says they are the type of decisions you get at Parkhead, whether there is contact or not. Is that not insinuating that Celtic players have dived in the past and been awarded decisions? He was accusing Celtic players of diving, and referees of awarding us decisions even when there is no contact if the game is at Celtic Park.

Fair play to Sutton, he calls it as he sees it. Don't always agree, but on the whole he was right about Ronny and I wasn't

At least Sutton gives an honest opinion without the bullshit, clichés and pandering to his footballing buddies. He slagged off Ronny continually but a lot of what he sais was true.

Sutton is blunt and says it like he sees it. I have absolutely no problem with him and really enjoying listening to what he has to say because most the time he talks sense.

Like when he said the only position he would worry about now if Celtic get into the champions league is the goalkeeper. He's got that bang on.

Even though he is quick to criticise I think he definitely has a genuine affection for Celtic. He's good value and offers a honest opinion which is more than can be said for a lot of pundits.
