    Semi-Final!

    The theme: One single, one live song.

    So as it's the semi final, I'm giving you a bit of free reign in regards to the theme, as the last one wasn't easy considering the acts we still had left.

    You must submit two different songs. One must have been released as a single by your act and the other must be any live version of a song by your act.

    Scoring remains the same as the last round, where you award 3-2, 4-1 or 5-0 to the artist whose songs you prefer. So you are rating the songs of each artist as a pair, rather than rating their songs individually.

    Submission deadline is Friday at 12:00.​

    That song kind of took me by surprise tbh. Good pick and as Sean said....you nailed the party theme. :smiley-laughing002:

    Genuine question though. How big is Paolo Nutini outside the UK? Second time I have heard this guy in BotB and surprised I've never heard of him outside this forum. (admit that I don't follow too much recent music "trends" in the Netherlands) Great artist! :50:

    Not too bothered by the scores for my quarter final either. Plenty of 2-3 scores there, so at least didn't pick a * song. I nearly run out of quality live performances though, so I'm fine with this score. Used a few songs way too early, but didnt have much choice after the first round.

    He had some big hits with his debut album and was quite well known in Europe, nothing major though.

    His latest album is a coming of age though, really grown up vibe from it.

    Unlucky mate. Im a big fan of both artists, but The Beatles song was such a party song and Money wasnt. Think i may have gone with Wish You Were Here myself in an attempt at an end of party song....maybe 20 minutes after Wonderwall! Tough theme for you though, especially after surviving the last round, which was also a tough theme.

    Although im a Beatles fan, i think Money is a classic piece of rock culture, but i went 1-4 against it based on the theme of the round.
