Things you hate about modern football

This was my main problem with Ath Madrid the other night ( and they are obviously nowhere near the only one that do it.) Their centre backs were diving around trying to get folk sent off. Cheating is cheating but when as you say it is a six foot six centre back it just looks ridiculous and it is a sad indictment of the modern game that it is just accepted.

Would love to see Referees just starting to tell folk to get the * up and stop acting the *.

Anyone who would rather finish fourth in their league than win the Champions League. Yeah, you just ignore those guys. Cockwombles.

 

More a trivial thing that annoys me but players and managers/coaches covering their mouths when talking to each other.Just really winds me up.Started noticing it a lot during Champions League games last year and now you see it in league one ffs!

Its a thing from Spanish football that, Moyes mentioned it a few weeks ago that on Spanish TV they zoom right into everyones mouths and have lip readers who tell everything thats being said, thats why they all cover their mouths lol

The way we lose a good player so quickly. We've pretty much always lost our best players in modern times but now it's a season and a half or two and they're off to feckin Norwich or Southampton

Another one would be when refs just bottle it and give both players a yellow card after an incident even if one party is completely blameless.

 

Seems to be the easy option when you have no * idea what just happened.

Most of what I dislike has been posted in here but for me the thing I hate most is how * panzy like football is, from diving players to fans and media.

I often go to Eastleigh Fc games they're a team playing in the conference In England, they have a half decent set of fans who stand on the terrace and sing for the full game. Now out of the 12 games I have been to I have been told to stop swearing 5 times had one response team sent to get me and my mates for swearing and been told ill be arrested in another for swearing again even though its not a crime and I'm stood behind the goal with a bunch of * up maniacs smashing a drum.

Not putting that to sound cool its more the life and soul is being sucked out of football by a bunch of wetty middle class * in the media and in the stands at football who grass players/other fans up for having a laugh and maybe going for a drink EG Scott Brown this season, you would never of got told to stop swearing or not to go out 20 years ago but now everyones a *.

Another example is Jack Wilshire last season singing spurs are * on an open top bus after FA cup win, week later Fa fined him I mean really? Games a joke.

Also hate players who dive for me diving should be a straight 3 match ban and increased by one game every time you are caught doing it.
