    Askenazi Jews aren't even Semitic.

    Arabs are Semitic.

They can't even get their bullshit correct.

The Hasbara cyber soldiers are all over the Internet, peddling their lies.

    Complete revisionist pish. :smiley-laughing002:

There is plenty of discussion about these terms and you don't have look too hard to find it. Newsnight or Channel 4 news etc.

    * that just pedal this line that you can't use terms like racist anymore are equally as pathetic and laughable as folk that use it out of context imo.

So why is she being forced to apologise as opposed to being able to correctly state that being anti-Zionist is not the same thing as being anti-Semitic?

And I never said you can't use terms like "racist" anymore, nor that they aren't being discussed, I said they are being used to shut down discussion before it begins or to discredit another's opinion without debate. A bit of a difference there, wouldn't you agree?

    Hail Hail

It’s not just the the bbc and the tories who are saying there is a problem here and indeed in the labour party itself –

'The Labour Party has a "serious problem" with anti-Semitism, a senior Labour peer has warned.
Lord Levy told BBC Newsnight he believed anti-Semitism existed across the political divide, but it seemed "more prominent" within Labour.'

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36157027

'Labour and the left have an antisemitism problem'
    Jonathan Freedland

    http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/mar/18/labour-antisemitism-jews-jeremy-corbyn

So if their own MP’s/supporters are coming out and stating that there is a problem then maybe just maybe someone should listen and not just dismiss this, or worse, try and defend it.

My problem with her is she said that the population should be moved from Israel to America, there is a word for that *. Also by saying that she is not any better than the Israelis but that irony seems lost here. Two wrongs will not make a right, no matter how people try to spin this.

Oh and as for her standing by what she said , nah as that could result in here losing her MP's salary/perks and that wont happen.

Maybe I picked you up wrong.

You said as soon as these words are used "there is no discussion". Or did you not ?

Yes, no discussion about the topic being discussed when the labels are attached to one of the participants, not no discussion about the terms themselves.

    Firstly, is she wrong?

    Secondly, the context is important.

    I don't know, that's why I asked.

I suppose if you run the country then you can pass a law making it legal to slaughter 5 million people.

I'm not sure there is any context where using that as a reply would be considered the done thing.

    It's crass at best.

Yes she is wrong with her * comments.. Comparing them to a regime who butchered over 6m Jews is wrong...

Stupid... Yes, as her career is over and failure to stick to her guns shows a lack of integrity if that what she believed.

Sound like another sensationalist MP out to make comments to boost her own popularity.. Better off without her...

Which law was passed to slaughter 5 million people?

    There's always context.

    Some get, some don't.

    What was crass about it?

Read what she said again and get back to me.

You don't appear to have grasped it.

I think what she was getting at is that whilst what the Zionist Government do and say in many cases isn't technically illegal, neither is what Hitler and the *'s did initially. Technically.

The *'s were getting away with a whole lot of nasty stuff before the rest of the civilised world batted an eyelid, and the argument back then, of course, would have been similar to what we're seeing in defence of how the Zionist Government acts.

    It wasn't that long before World war II officially kicked off (less than a year by all accounts) that the British PM was visiting Hitler in his mansion in the Alps;

It was all smiles and handshakes at that point, despite the fact that Hitler was tearing * up in Germany already.

So, I can kind of understand where she's coming from.

    Correct.

It should also be noted that Neville Chamberlain needed to buy time to have the resources capable of winning a war.

In 1936, we had * all.
