Kit sponsor next season?

Not a fan of this, makes us look like desperate * having a sponsor on the back too. A few teams have this in the league already and I kinda associate it with diddy teams.

 

They don't look like Twins, but hey, welcome Magners Brothers.

Actually the way we're playing might not being able to make out the hoops on the strips the way we're playing with all the sponsors.

 

Just as well Forrest is leaving then. The money saved on the extra material can go towards an extra player.

Will player names end up underneath the numbers like in Germany or what's the story?

 

Will most likely be a small sponsor just below the collar and above the name

Definitely, think people forget how little income we receive from our league and media revenue. Everyone wants better players and managers but can't accept a little sponsor on the back. If someone was willing to pay enough i'd put one on the shorts as well.

The only issue I have is having a gambling site on the front and an alcohol brand on the back isn't exactly in keeping with our clubs values, but it's been alcohol for years in a country where alcohol is often an issue so how much worse is a gambling site?

 

It's not tacky at all - its fine.

Barca have three * sponsors - Barca - some diddy team they are. Qatar on the front, Beko on the sleeves and HP ( i thin its them) on the inside of the top so when the players celebrate, their logo is shown.

£5m a year they get paid for that - a sponsor on the inside.

Good business by the board.

 

If we were getting 5m a year then they can plaster whatever they want on the hoops :icon_mrgreen: And I was talking about our league not elsewhere. I'm used to seeing it on South American shirts and yes, Barca, just would prefer the hoops kept nice and simple that's all. Magners is everywhere to be seen around the stadium as it is.

That is why Barça is not "mes que un club" anymore. They and Real would * themselves to the devil for money. Admire these big clubs as you like but when a soul of a club is gone its gone.

I hope we never follow them . Not even for another CL win.

How have Barca no soul? They play some of the best, purist football ever to be played, their players aren't the highest paid yet still some of the most loyal and they fill a 98k stadium.

Yeah; and what happens if, like me, you tend to buy sponsor-less shirts? Do they put the name back up top?

 

Barca is a multi million dollar qatar sponsored club that hires the best mercenaries from all over the world. It just rides on the whole Catalunya thing a lot. If you start with Unicef to end at Quatar airlines you have clearly no morals.

Also interesting to see their history of tax avoidance and other foul moves over the last decades.
