Really? Even when it's taking our club further and further backwards?

I think there's a distinction to be made between backing him to bring us the League and backing him in general.

I'm in the first camp as well. As every Celtic fan should be.

Aye, again, there's a distinction to be made between supporting Celtic and actively supporting Ronny Deila.

I'd hope we're all in the first camp as you say, bewilders me if anyone is truly in the second camp though :smiley-laughing002:

Another reason I'd prefer to keep Ronny is that we get a new manager who has to "start his revolution." In other words, this means no CL football and poor domestic results under the guise of the manager "implementing his style"

Better the devil you know. I'd rather we progressed further under Ronny and try to replicate the football we were playing in second half of last year. Also, in the EL we played well this year but had poor results. Likewise we played well in last years EL. We were shipping goals but we were scoring more goals than opposition.

I would be for giving the project one last go. There is next to no chance that we will make the champions league with a new manager. Some may think that there is no chance under Ronny but we nearly made it on the last two occasions, so third time lucky.

Better the devil you know than the one you don't.

Give it a rest eh, the jig is up. Most fans can't wait to wipe his tenure from the memory. The guy is leaving Celtic with his biggest result being a 3-3 draw against a poor Inter side.

    I want him gone.

I will back him until this league is won, like I would do any manager.

In all honesty, I worry about this clubs future and thats not down to Ronny. We need half of the players to follow him out the door in the summer, starting with Bitton the cowardly *, unforgivable what he was trying to do yesterday.

I will be there celebrating the league, when we win it. Seen so many people say we shouldn't celebrate it, its embarrassing blah blah. Bullshit! I will always celebrate winning a league, especially 5 in a row and ye know what?? I might even celebrate this one more than I did last year as its not been as easy to win. The fact that we are 8 points clear in the league even though we have been pure baws is very telling.

Get this league won, celebrate 5 in a row, then we can worry about next season, I just hope to * that the board have at least an idea of who they are bringing in. Easy to get rid of a manager, not so easy to get rid of the power holders at our club who clearly don't give a * about the way we are heading.

I'll tell you what the acid test for me was. In 2013, we got better results against Ajax but played, arguably, the most negative, atrocious football I had ever seen from Celtic. Total hoofball up to Samaras. This year, we didn't get the results against Ajax but we played better football than them. We were really good to watch in Amsterdam. Likewise against Inter Milan the football I watched was far superior to the football I seen against AC Milan in 2013.

Ronny hasn't had Lady Luck on his side I'd say

You're comparing Champions League standard to Europa League. A team that had just had it's spine ripped out to a team that is going into it's 2nd year.

Compare the result at Parkhead that same season, against a better Ajax team than the one we faced this year, to any of the games against them this season. It was far superior. We actually won, for a start.
