I'd probably rather have Lennon but if Keane was coming in with MON as DOF then maybe not.

I wouldn't be unhappy with that either.

Keane on his own scares the bejesus out of me though.

For a while I wasn't too against the idea of Keane but the more I think about it the more I think it wouldn't be very smart.

If he wants to be taken seriously as a manager he needs to find a new job (not the Celtic one) and get himself noticed again. He has very little credibility outside of the Celtic support just now. Whichever way you want to look at it, he got his team relegated, he failed.

And all this Keane talk depresses the * out of me. The guy is a * and a * manager. I'd rather Lenny back

It could be an interesting 6 months though before Keane implodes and kills Griffiths for missing a penalty and rapes Keef Jackson for questioning him about it. Then jumps in the Clyde and swims to England for some peace and quiet. :smiley-laughing002:

Cue Keane fanboys giving me stick. :fear:

Or just walks out. Ireland and Villa style ?

FWIW, Martin Oneill and Keane are actually my favourite choice. :fear: Then moyes, Rodgers and then Lenny.

I'd stick Lambert at end of it. Apparently he's unhappy at Blackburn too ?

Nothing to suggest a Keane and MON as director of football or whatever would work. It sounds lovely on paper but surely a guy like O'Neil belongs on the touchline.

Not in the heated seats armed with a walkie talkie to talk to Keane with.

I'd be tempted to choose Lennon on his own ahead of that. I just don't like the Director of football idea. It probably wouldn't happen anyway but, still.

Same mate, I don't think DoF would actually play to O'Neills strengths. I'll give Keano the benefit of the doubt and assume he's useful in some capacity, I'm just not sure exactly what that is :smiley-laughing002:

He could be hands on like Lawwell though, pretty sure he has been in the John Collins mask for the past two years. :smiley-laughing002:

I actually read that wrong when I agreed to it. I would want Martin in the dugout as well, with Keane doing the day to day coaching while Martin runs the whole football operation.

I don't think so either, I think it's kind of just sprung up out of nowhere due to them both working together at the moment and no * wanting Keane to be let loose on his own:smiley-laughing002:

I'd warm to that more however I doubt Mr Keane would swing for it. * it, just make O'Neil the manager full stop!

Bizarre seeing Celtic fans writing off Lennon as a manager because he got a doomed and bankrupt Bolton relegated.

I actually think some of you have zero football knowledge sometimes.

Do all the people wanting Lennon back forget just how stale the last season was/went?

Or that he left due to there being a 'glass celling' at Celtic, with 'not enough funds'.

Now that he's jobless he's licking our * again, ultimately he is doing to us what he did with the media down south for the last 6 months when he was with us.

You mean the season where he had his best players sold, still got us to the CL and almost went the full season unbeaten?

    That season?
