So you wouldn't like to see a repeat of that season?

    Disgraceful.:smiley-laughing002:

Iraq, right let's not be silly here.

Before he left us he was, as some said, "whoring himself out to English team" by doing punditry down south etc.

If he had done well at Bolton, he'd be after another job in England, not trying to get back here.

Right so far we've had Lenny left when the going got tough, that he's 'came crawling back', has his tail between his legs, is a 'yes man'.

    Anything else?

Lennon should never have took the Bolton job, Mourinho or Alex Ferguson wouldn't have been able to sort that mess never mind Neil Lennon ffs.

If it meant us not winning the league, no.

79 points was enough a few years ago when Aberdeen were * and the huns weren't around. Next season it may well be a different situation.

Look at Gordon Strachan, he could balance a good season domestically with success in Europe. Lennon wasn't capable of that.

It would be a 'step backwards' under Lenny apparently. So a step back from EL whipping boys back to being CL group stage participants.

I'll take that step back no problem.

MON done punditry all through his time here with us. As did Strachan.

Apparently it's only Lenny that whores himself out when he does it though.

I dont think he left because the going got tough, he left cos the board wouldnt back him and he was correct in doing so. The board may have thought that with no zombies to compete against then we would be able to stroll thru the league with minimum spending. Now after "experimenting" with Ronny and how thats turned out Lennon believes the board may well give him what he wanted 2 years ago and thats why he wants to come back..Plus we got the zombies back to make things more interesting.

Or he just enjoys doing punditry work.

He has regularly been a pundit for CL matches on TV3 over here. Who is he 'whoring' himself out to, League of Ireland clubs?

I think a lot of people are missing the point.

If Moyes and Rodgers etc had said there was no chance of coming here then Lennon wouldn't be bad.

It's the fact that we have the chance to get Moyes and change the way the club runs to an extent, that if we were to end up with Lennon it would be disappointing to say the least.

    I'm just quoting others.

As I said though, do you think if Lenny did well down south he'd rather come back here than stay down there?

    Absolutely no chance.

You're saying Lennon was a failure when he left us, what's Moyes done since he left Everton?

What would Moyes and Rogers change about the way the club is run?

He took over, at the time, probably the most difficult job in the world. He was given less than a year then punted. His replacement, regarded as one of the best managers of the last 20 odd years, has spent £250 million and hasn't done any better.

Then he went to a foreign country, took over a struggling team and didn't make it better didn't make it worse. Only given a year.

By change I mean, the only way Moyes would take the job is if he was guaranteed money to spend and his own scouting system etc.

Thats a load of rubbish. If getting a job on TV was a way into management then why is Gary Linekar not Barca boss. Alan Hansen for Chelsea. The guy was thought highly enough of to be asked to give his opinion and you decide to use the word "*" in describing him.

Has he told you that if he done well at Bolton he would be after another job in England or do you just know it all.

Were you at the Noel Gallagher concert during the week?

I was looking for your quote about "fans" having the jersey to give it the thumbs up. Where did you post it?

He wont be back, the board want someone to come in and work with little investment so using youth and developing cheap option players to play in Europe. He tried to play politics and get more from the board in his last season then got told where his place is, we need something different but I would take Lennon back over Moyes, Keane, Stubbs, Michael O'Neill.

Why did he leave us? Isn't everyone saying it's because we were selling our best players and not investing enough?

If so, that hasn't changed. So why does he want back after 2 years?

People's love for the guy is blinding them. Why does he want back so soon?

Brendan Rodgers bought 33 players for £292,050,000 during his time at Liverpool and yet they won * all.

He apparently wants assurances about his transfer budget from Swansea before he goes back there so he will be nowhere near the Celtic job.
