So lennon a legend who played in one of our greatest teams- a man targeted for the most vile sectarian abuse ive seen yet still remained at the club defiant, a man who took over a shambles and took us to the champions league twice, beat barcelona and got to the last 16 and brought through players such as wanyama, van dijk, hooper, forster et al and people dont want him back. That honestly defies logic.

Nobody was happy that Mulgrew started in the middle against Barca. Samaras was not a popular choice either. Fortunately Lenny did not pick his teams based on who the fans wanted for that game. I wonder if any of those experts having a go at his team selections could have taken us to the last 16 of the CL

Lennon was horrible with his favouritism. Players like Rogic would be gone if Lennon was still manager.

100% agree with this. I wanted Lennon to be our Alex Ferguson and take us to ten in a row. For whatever reason (which still doesn't seem clear) he decided to leave. Although I appreciate he'failed' down south, I would happily welcome him back. He would get the best out of Broony, get Commons back doing what he does best, not waste talent such as Christie, Allan, Henderson and Stokes (who I believe is massively wasted at a Championship side considering what he could do for us, particularly in a game like today's). And most importantly get players running through walls for him, realising what it means to play for Celtic.

    Bring the thunder back Lenny.

    Bollocks.

Rogic was injured almost the whole time Lenny was there.

He gave him chances and clearly thought highly of him.

Whether he would be fully fit if Lenny was still here is another matter.

I guess I just don't like going backwards(In a chronological sense). I would honestly rather someone new. Couldnt quite say who right enough.

Lennon is my personal choice. Been over the course already and succeeded. Proven winner. Look at Southampton just now, core of that team. A team full of talent, and 40% identified by Celtic. I don't buy the downsizing pish, just been unlucky with players brought in. Bad luck cant last forever.

The idea of Lennon coming back, although probably sensible, doesn't excite me at all.

I can't help wondering what if...

Lenny and Ronny would have made a good team I think.

Do you think Big Johan would be in the running to take the role as his own?

    Nope.

Would be a big risk at a time where it's not needed.

    This is a wasted debate.

I love Lennon, and he did a very good job on balance, but it would be a complete lack of imagination to appoint him 2 years after he left.

There are plenty of managers out there who are better than Deila, and are attainable.

Realistically we need 2 wins from 3, we'll get that. The leagues over dont worry
