Racist comments.

That would most likely be racism, wouldn't it? The person would obviously not be dressed in Muslim attire, so why would the offender come to the conclusion that the person is a Muslim? Most likely due to the colour of their skin, right?

Yet the words he used suggests he is a bigot. The abuse dished out was intended to insult his religion. The guy is obviously a racist also judging the recipient by skin colour. Its an example of the blurred lines where there is a crossover between the two.

 

In such cases there's a level of bigotry or racism at play most likely

Jungos trolling but I see a lot of Asian boys I've knew for years showing real resentment towards Britain now. I'm starting to really wonder if its bordering on radicalisation from one of them with the * he posts on facebook. It's clear he resents white people and is generalising.

Quite disturbing when I've knew the boy for years and always got on well with him.

You know what? I'm not surprised. Of course being ostricised, bullied or abuse aimed at you for your whole life for something you have no say in is going to lead to resentment.
I'm not saying his form of racism is right, but in those cases you can understand it.

Just for the record, i never accused a 'forum full of Celtic fans' of anything, i accused a very very small select band of TalkCeltic members of ostracising people.

I'm sure that resentment of the Irish in years gone by was blamed on them coming to Britain and undercutting the native workforce at the time as well, costing guys their livelihoods.

The same can be said of Eastern European workers today.

The abuse those Irish boys got then, and the Eastern Europeans get now is also understandable then, would you agree?

Not really, the point I'm making is that most forms of racism stem from a reason of some sort. Very few racists just hate for the sake of it.

Really? I'd say the vast majority of racists are bred.
How does, for example a 4 year old white kid know the black kid in his nursery is a *?
How does the 9 year old kid know that the Irish-descendant family who live 4 doors down are taigs?

Most racists invent a reason to justify their warped sense. In my opinion.

 

If the taigs never escaped the genocide and the * never got colonised then sold for slavery then it wouldn't happened. Silly.

I think children who actively hate another race etc. are bred that way, but every child makes racist comments because that's just what kids do they tease anyone and everything that is different to the majority. You're different because you are black, they'll make fun of it. You're fat, they'll make fun of it. You're ginger, they'll make fun of it.
