    As much as the 'racist' claim has been overused in the past, things have pretty much gone full circle now with folk spouting full-on racist bile under the guise of 'breaking down political correctness'.

    I think there has to be intent. The words themselves are not racist it is the manner they are used

    That's the same for me considering i've been called a racist * knows how many times on here maybe it's not me that's the racist one. Never even had the thought of insulting someone with a racist comment before never mind actually doing it.

    I have in childhood and through my teens and that I'm not proud of, life's an education I was ignorant growing up and thought I'd knew it all, as you get older you become wiser and realise we're all the same regardless of colour or creed.

    This pretty much , I am 47 and ordering a 'chinkys' was accepted at one time and people would not see it as being racist. Anyone who is my age or similar who tries to say they didn't use that term is fibbing imo.
    I do not now use the term and the majority don't either thankfully.
    As for the rap music I have always found it to be * anyway so I have no worries there :smiley-laughing002:
