Who in here has never made one......ever?

Whether referring to a player of a race or nationality at a match, or in the privacy of your own home.Whether to a foreign national shop keeper who has been rude in your opinion and the comment has been under your breath or even in your head, who in here would say they are completely innocent?

Have you gone your whole life refraining from saying ------ *, or ----- *?

I havent, and yet i dont think im racist.Granted, intolerance of casual racism is something that has changed in my lifetime, but even last week, i was playing pool and a friend/acquaintance (a tim)made a joke about a guy in the pub being a ----- *. He laughed it off and sort of excused himself. I felt guilty about not saying something, but its hard to do so when the atmosphere is a jovial one and you want to get on with your night!!

Would find it hard to believe if anyone says they haven't ever made a comment like that, would think most would admit to saying it atleast once, probably within the privacy of their own homes.

Id be lying if I said I havent, and still do on occasion although I consciously try to avoid it now.

I have never really said anything with any maliciousness though, or been racist towards a particular person. Anything I have said has usually been as a 'joke', and only really in front of close mates who know I don't actually mean what I'm saying. Like I said though I dont really do it anymore, was more when I was younger and a bit more immature.

Yes, rarely ever in a literal sense though as they're mostly just jokes. Some I even say to black friends of mine who couldn't care less. I don't think I've ever made a comment about someones race in an angry sense or anything like that, at worst I called someone a "Polish *" because some Polish guy I know was being a * to someone but that's all I can remember.

Anyone who says they haven't laughed at a racist joke or said a racist word ever is a liar

Stupid thread especially on this forum as there is no way the squeaky clean bunch on here will ever admit to anything racist

I can safely say I've never used a racial slur against anyone, it's just the way I was brought up. I guess my parents were "squeaky clean".

I have said the word * a lot though, mostly during my NWA days.

So its ok to be racist so long as you don't get caught to often you can claim its just one that slipped out. All those public figures accused of racism should be exonerated because it was maybe their one that slipped out.

It would be only fair to repeal any anti hate laws in case some poor innocent has just let slip a racist comment and doesn't mean it cos hes not a racist.

None of of the huns are bigots the songs slip out of their mouths with out them even knowing. When they chant "* the pope" what they really mean is come on the the rangers

Not everyone is straight out of a bullshit fairytale like yourself, princess.
Most offended guy on the planet. Cringeworthy.
You're the kind of guy that wouldn't laugh at a racist, sexist, homophobic joke , no matter how funny it was. Just so you could sit on your high horse.

Most offended guy on the planet, that's quite a claim.

I'd love to see the extensive study you done to come up with that conclusion.

If being "the most offended guy on the planet" means opposing racism and inequality then so be it.

Isn't it funny that racists use the old "just breaking down the barriers of political correctness" and accuse others who oppose racism as being "offended".

Newsflash, racism never flew under political incorrectness. Racism is just racism.

Never been truly racist towards someone to insult them. But I enjoy a racist joke (who doesn't?) and I guess you could say I act "racist" with friends who are black/indian by slagging them but they do the same back and they know it's a joke, obviously don't do it with random people.

I already knew that. If its ok to let the racist comment slip out why not add bigotry, homophobia etc. to the list.

I can't say I haven't ever used racist terminology - I used to order a 'chinky' (I swear this was deemed perfectly fine in the early 90's), I like rap music which can be fairly heavy on the racist language, and I even got pulled up here for using the word 'Kraut' :smiley-laughing002:

It's all about context for me though. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever used any racist language in a malicious sense. I dont think that's nearly as unrealistic as some are making out.
