hahah calm doon a wee bit Drakhan... I would take 2-1 Celtic right now, in fact I would bite off your hand for that. I expect a win, but I know there are so many mitigating factors that could result in 'honest mistakes' and a loss here... as the day moves ever closer, my nerves are shredded to be honest. I believe in Griff though. And Patrick 'Messi' Roberts.

I put this in the wrong thread already so said I may throw it in the right one :smiley-laughing002:

Just had a look at their last three games' teamsheets and they apparently play 4-3-3 with a consistent back 5 of Foderingham, Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson and Wallce. Holt and Halliday always start in midfield with Miller always making up one of the front three.

Waghorn, Michael O'Halloran, David Templeton and Billy King are all unavailable

Tavernier is their main danger. Hopefully Tierney keeps him in check. Although I imagine that * be pinned back and actually have to play as a full back for once

It's good that the uglies come into this game with a degree of confidence, it'll make it all the sweeter when we brush them aside on Sunday :icon_mrgreen:

The one time I've seen him come up against decent opposition (st Johnstone) he was absolutely rotten defensively. Also Roberts will put the fear into lee Wallace.

    That's where he'll * up. He can't defend, he's getting found out.
This isn't butchers, plumbers and * lollipop men. No 'spectacular runs and worldy goals'

    So it'll probably be

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Mulgrew Tierney
    Brown Bitton
    Roberts Johansen Kazim
    Griffiths

    V

    Foderingham
    Tavernier Kiernan Wilson Wallace
    Ball Halliday
    Forrester Holt McKay
    Miller

Should only be 1 winner there. Their centre-halves, centre-mid are absolute dross and their attacking options are * poor as well.

Should have said too their keeper is awful on the ball, i've only seen them about 5 times this season and I think every game he's looked really clumsy on the ball when he's had it passed back to him. The way Griffiths and Johansen shut down keepers it wouldnt be suprising if we got a goal from putting him under pressure.

To be fair to him, If he was at us and scored some of the goals he has, he'd be raving about him too.

    That team :52: :56:

Genuinely wouldn't take one of their players, not one ! Best I would do, would be to take their RB, as back up for lustig. That's it.
If we play to even 70% our potential, no matter how good they are on the day, we'll annihilate them.

He's scored into dross though. If we played plumbers week in, week out, I'm sure our defenders would score similar amounts of goals.

I look at this squad and think just how could the huns better it? It's ours to lose, most certainly.

I'm hearing this Tavernier name getting chucked about everywhere, he's played 44 games for the Huns this season and bagged 14, mostly in the Championship, and mostly in games were the Huns have run riot bagging 4 or 5 (against your Alloa's, Dumbarton's, Peterhead's, Morton's, etc.), my question is, what caliber of player are we really looking at here? I can confess I don't know * all about der squad, but surely rating a player over his performances against the likes of Alloa is misplaced?

they wouldn't though, would they? Lustig or Tierney with 15 goals or whatever it is. Not gonna happen. He's got some strike on him, there is no denying that

We will never find out :bbpd:
Buuut. The likes of big Virgil, for talking sake, I'm sure would rattle them in down there. *, even Charlie would probably hit double figures relatively easy down with the plumbers and part timers.

You can only be measured against who you play against really.
If he is the best player in the Championship, fair * to him. Not his fault everyone else is * in the same way it's not Messi's fault everyone else isn't on his level either.

Is he a permanent signing for them? Be interesting to see how he fares next season in SPFL against full time athletes.
