    good data

OK if those figures are accurate, then i would suggest that the Board, need to be earning that money. As it is a sizeable fee to be paying out for a club our size.

I would want those members on the Board to influential in Europe, UK, Scotland. And be networking and lobbying football descision makers for the benefit and progress and success of our club.

They should be bringing in larger sponsorship deals. Better media rights packages. developing the Celtic Brand Internationally. building good political relationships in the sporting world.

I dont know why you're using "if" in context to imply there is doubt as the material provided is from the Clubs AGM report; black and white. They don't 'earn' their money, they are not on performanced based salaries (they should be). Lawwell paid himself a cool £1m in 2009 when we went trophless. No doubt the Lawwellists/Brigade will completely deny it and justify the failings of running our Club.

For Lawwell, the Board, Dermot Desmond its always been about the dividents and salaries its never been about making us better in the long run. In the last 10 years from Lawwells arrival we have regressed so much its hard to even comprehend we were in a European Final 13 seasons ago.

Mr Lawwell is on the SFA Board lobbying for 'The Rangers' continuity simply for Economic terms. £10m he stated we are missing out. Thats his bonus sorted.

Completely agree, you would think while being against the Footballing inflation that we would be making exhusting effort to close the gap as much as possible but this just isn't the case. Some completely refuse to accept that their * Lawwell is doing everything. Sad times ahead.

When you're talking about a business that deals in millions of pounds every year the amount Lawwell makes is commensurate with others in the same position at similar sized businesses.

A million quid a year for a Chief Executive to oversee a business who's brand value was close to £80 million last year seems fair enough to me. It's also worth pointing out that when it comes to brand value we sit ahead of clubs like AS Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Valencia, Benfica, PSV & Wolfsburg.

To sit in that position, higher than clubs who operate in leagues that are far more lucrative than ours surely has to say something about the way Lawwell and his fellow board members have gone about business?

We're also four places higher than we were in 2014 apparently.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that everything is rosy and we're doing great, because we aren't. But if we're going to be critical of Lawwell then we also have to give praise where it's due.

What? We pay Dermot Desmond in perpetuity due to CCP with a 6% interest rate (which is the £0.5m). "perpetuity" = Forever.
    -------------------------------------------------------------

Really so are you saying he has a coupon that will return that for perpetuity then ? Seriously ? It seems its not only dividends and derivatives you should read up on :50:

I dont understand why you are allowed to troll me with impunity. Once a scumbag eh why dont you go back to beating the head of decent football fans with all the "top boys" at Aberdeen.

You repeatedly say that I want to see us lose. This is a confounded lie and you know it. If in fact this was true I would be Deilas biggest fan.

You also lie about when I said skimming. I said that the bank of New York etc were skimming, at the time I was not aware that this was a term used to denote criminal activity. I was using it as an adjective to describe them taking their cut. I never ever thought anything illegal was happening. Never. if I was trying to suggest this then they would be right and * stupid to list it in the accounts wouldnt they.

All you are is a bitter wee toerag who's raison d'etre is to drag decent folk down to your level in to the gutter. You're going to be delighted you got me to bite no doubt. I dont suffer fools easily but you you are a vindictive little troll. I am flat out asking you to * off and stop interacting with me on here. Stop making up lies and stop trolling me.

Only in your head. You need something to hold over me so you resort to lies. Classic rat behavior. I was using skim as an adjective and I do realize that it was not the correct adjective to use. And you are right I knew exactly what I meant and it is not what you think that I meant. I'm gonna go back to ignoring you again. I have no wish to parley with an Aberdeen football hooligan. G'luck.

    Henrik Larsson (obvious choice ehh?)

Makes you wonder how we would have ranked 2000-2009. Don't think they did it then anyway.

Our sponsor deal with Carling was £3m per season early 2000s (3 year I think). At that time Vodafone sponsored man united for £9m a season - not that far a gap. Would be like us getting £10m+ a season now.

Brand has massively fallen - directly correlated with team standards by the looks of it.

They may try and call it a brand rating but that table is directly related to the TV money deals given the dominance of epl teams followed by the teams from the other 4 rich leagues.

Why are some on here using Brand Finance the intangible asset valuation consultancy to justify the Boards lack of avidity?
Also, I find it ignorant that some are under the illusion to justify the lack of ambition by pointing out the expenditure on the wage budget which over the last 10 seasons has not been fluctuated or been flexible enough to attract better players under the inflated market, pointing out a steady conservative expenditure that it somehow rationalises the Board is not the problem is naive.
