    Signed a 2-and-a-half year deal only a few months ago. If we're getting over £1mil for him that would be some business for a fringe player signed on a free.

    Pointless and underwhelming signing.
    Replaced one * Turkish striker with an attitude with another * Turkish striker with an attitude that was a bit older.

    If I am right in saying, this leaves us now with just Griffiths and ciftci?
    The rate and standard of strikers that we are offloading I wouldn't be surprised to see the back of ciftci either in the next week or two. Definetely can see us making a move for at least two strikers now.

    Another completely pointless signing. Both him and Cole were headscratchers that will live long in Celtic-themed pub quizzes for years to come.

    Hopefully he moves on and sees success in Brazil.

    I liked the guy, I thought we didn't utilize him at the right times. He was a big occasion player and should have played the Scottish cup semi final.

    his best games were the ones he played against hearts in a front three of him griff and roberts was a unit in those games i think he would have been hard for the rangers defense to handle problem with him is he goes missing at times when he should be trying to sniff out a goal

    I don't think he's good enough to be a Celtic striker but I think people are being harsh comparing him to Cole. To be honest I thought he was decent enough in the games he played and was just lacking goals.

    I wouldn't have minded him staying as a third or fourth choice back up, but if we were to get anything close to a million for him then it would be good business.

    Its funny, if lennon had have been our new manager I would have been happy to keep him and Stokes in the squad. But under Rodgers I want us to aim much higher- it shows how far my expectations had fallen but under Rodgers I just feel we are going to be aiming high and I am loving it!

    He's not a Rodgers type player at all. Slow, bulky and couldn't hit a coo's * with a banjo in front of goal in all honesty.
