    Brilliant! Yeah he's a bit of a live wire apparently. His reputation does seem to preceded him. He's just gone up a bit in my estimation. He was probably sticking up for one of the youth or something, I bet...or he just felt like a rammy. We need someone like him about, imo. He's a good player.

    Honestly dont like him much as a player, but gotta love his heart and passion. Came to the club and immediately took to the fans and wants to be involved with being a Celt, much like Erik. Would need to know concrete details about what happened tho, if he initiated or if he was sticking up for someone. Until we know for sure, mon CKR!

    Coritiba hires English-Turkish striker Colin Kazim


    Club consulted former midfielder Alex to close the contract, which will be made official on Tuesday

    Moments before the ball rolling in Porto Alegre, for Grêmio and Coritiba, the Paranaense club made an announcement that drew attention. Football manager Valdir Barbosa confirmed that the club are hiring striker Colin Kazim, who has defended the Turkish National Team at Euro 2008 and was in the Celtic-ESC.

    - We are engaged so that player. He will arrive in Curitiba on Tuesday. His wife is Brazilian, lives in Guarulhos, SP and so he would like to play here. The Gilson Kleina spoke with Alex (former player of Coritiba) that endorsed - Valdir Barbosa said in an interview with Radio Transamerica Curitiba, the Grêmio Arena.

    Colin Kazim (ex-Fenerbahçe & Celtic) in talks to join Coritiba with a contract until December 2017, says Coritiba's director Valdir Barbosa.

    Via Brazillian media on twitter, seems to be multiple sources saying he's gone.

    Very short and sweet indeed.

    I didn't want him to begin with and was underwhelmed. Seems a decent guy at heart but footballing wise I don't rate him and I would have been surprised if Rodgers did too.

    Journeyman as well so no real shock if he is moving on so quick in all honesty.
