When I seen Messi had got a sleeve and tattooed his legs I had my mind up.

My brother actually dislikes Messi because he was crying when he got injured at Celtic Park :smiley-laughing002:

Cannie really blame Messi for crying, 17 years old fulfilling his life dream of playing in the greatest stadium in the world iin front of the best fans in the world of one of the greatest teams in world football, and some dirty * robs him of playing a full match at Celtic Park.

I'd be in tears also :54:

Was he only 17 then? The game he scored 2? Can just remember being * delighted he was getting the * off the pitch.

Bad injury as well if I remember right.

Can't actually remember if he was definitely 17, but I'm positive it was there or thereabouts at the first or second seaosn of his Barcelona debut.

Aye, could have 19 at the most come to think of it. Mental. He was terrifying.

In fairness I detest Henry because of his celebration at Celtic Park so I can't say much :56:

Was it no in the 2nd leg at the Nou Camp he got injured? I'm sure it was Naylor who done him in :smiley-laughing002:

Aye that's fair enough and to be honest I don't disagree with you. He hasn't had a lot of game time to show what he can do. The thing that's bothering me about him is that when a player gets a string of cameo appearances, if he's any good, you'll see a few wee flashes of what he can do that give you some optimism. I've just no seen that from CKR yet. I've literally seen nothing from him that makes me think he's going to be a player for Celtic.

I would say the same about Nadir Ciftci as well in fairness. I don't think Ciftci is the standard we should be aiming at but he is definitely a better player than he showed in the few opportunities he got here.

Playing really well today, pity he's hardly scored a goal for us. He's strong as *, quite quick for a solid buy guy and has a nice touch on the ball, also good at winning long balls. If he could just score a few goals he'd do well for us. I'd be happy just to get 10/15 goals a season out him, he hold the ball up best we've seen since Vennegoor but also has good movement in behind.

Ideally I want a goal off him today and then if he followed it up by scoring again next week he'd be off and running.

I think he's not a bad player. His touch is very inconsistent though, sometimes very good, sometimes poor.

He seems to lose balance quite often too.

I'm putting a lot of this down to a lack of sharpness, the more he plays, the more he can hopefully iron out these creases. A goal today though would do him the world of confidence, especially going into next week.

Never gives anything up and his strength does end up creating us a chance or two a game. Needs to show more from me.

    I like him.

Not going to score loads but he's got a good touch and brings others into the game. Strong as *. It was good to see him sticking up for Paddy.
