    Rodgers would see the Selick job as a perfect way to increase his reputation back down in england and earn him maybe a top 6 job in 2 to 3 years time.....

    However how many times are we led down this road with a so called marquee signing only to end up with Willo "* pish flaps" Flood

    For the last 4 years I've hoped the board will do something big. I don't know what it is about this year but I'm expecting it to happen this with Rodgers and a few decent signings. Don't know what it is, just have a feeling.

    The club are just covering their backs when they say they have no preferred number one. That way if the Rodgers deal falls through the person who comes in won't look at themselves as a second choice.
