Somehow I can't imagine Bielsa swapping the sunny climes of France, Spain or Argentina for * wet and windy weather here in Scotland.

The guy is a cult figure, is it really just because of his spell at Argentina?

I mean, I'd love to see his style of play in Scotland and surely he'd know to shut up shop in Europe - that's common sense?

You are probably right. Can see him back in Spain.

You'd like to think he'd alter his style but from what I've read about him, maybe not. Seems a bit of a nutter.

Was hoping for a late night, early morning announcement. Wishful thinking ! When do we expect the actual announcement to be made ?
    Friday afternoon ?

I expect an announcement by Friday and probably leaked announcement tomorrow or Thursday. Celtic do like to drag their heels with these things though so could be a week on Friday.

I still see it being Lambert. No doubt we want Moyes or Rodgers but I think they'll knock us back and we'll have Lambert, Lennon and Keane on standbye probably in that order.

We know who the best candidates are, Moyes or Rogers, if we end up with a McKay or Lambert ect, its obvious they are cheaper, will settle for less budget wise and allow the meddler to meddle

But it's also very realistic that Moyes and Rodgers have no interest in the job.

100% certain that if they don't come it's because they've no interest in coming. Desmond and Lawwell would walk over broken glass to get one of them.

Don't believe Lawwell would want to spend money on a good manager. He wants to get by with the minimum expenditures possible. Desmond I have no idea about.

Looks like Benitez might well be staying on at Newcastle. Another possible door closed for Moyes it would seem. If hes holding out for an EPL team or big championship side like Newcastle its not looking to good for him.

its bad news when a championship team is seen as a another dorr closed. Moyes should be looking at his carear not his pay packet.

He has an opportunity for champions league football which he has tasted once with man united albeit quite short

Did alright as well actually. A lot better than Rodgers.

Just a handful of games each though obviously.

Looks like the bookies have as much clue as us.

Out of the top 5 in the betting I'd go:

    1. Rodgers
    2. Moyes
    3. Lennon
    4. Keane
    5. Lambert

Is Mackay the only one we are confirmed to have held official talks with so far?

Its easy sitting at home saying that, but its a * of a lot different if there is possibly an extra 2 or 3 million possibly being offered to you. Its like you working for a massive company, big prestige working there but the wages are not as good as another local company who will pay you far more but the prestige isnt as high. Who do you choose? Its a hypothetical question none of us can answer because its never been offered to us.
