This potentially is a sign that Moyes is on his way to be manager.

cannot think of any manager we have had in the past coming to us with the reputation that Moyes or Rodgers has, if we landed either of them my hat would be off to Dermot.

Getting my hopes up a bit with the speculation , need a solid Keane or Lambert rumour to bring me back down again!

Gae the lad a t-shirt and poster and tell him to bolt.

Hope he's had a good time at the golfing with DD but by Christ that is too left-wing to even think about.

You are trying to engineer Moyes coming to the club, ain't you ?
It ain't going to happen. It's blocked.

I remember them having next to no budget, I'll give him that. Was maybe slightly before my time as I watch more EPL football now than I did when he was Everton manager.

As for his time at United, yes the squad wasn't fantastic but from champions to 7th? That's a rapid decline and his impression on the players was poor by all accounts. I just don't think there's as much about him as people are making out. Yes he's got experience but in terms of WINNING he's not done a lot of it. I just don't get the hype - a good appointment but I won't be jumping around the room if we do get him. I genuinely have no idea if he'd do well or crack under the pressure (as we seen at UTD)

I find myself surprisingly uninspired by the thought of David Moyes getting the job. If it is in fact to be one of the big two that get the job then I really hope it is Brendan Rodgers.

Thanks for giving me your reasons.

I actually kind of agree with the Moyes one. That's the way I see his teams (like WGS).. Not sure I'd choose Clarke and Keane over him though. He'd make sure we won. I'm sure of that.

Rodgers would be my first choice. Not sure we can afford him or Moyes though.
