    Regarding Brendan Rodgers and Swansea - Swansea to perform dramatic U-turn and appoint Francesco Guidolin as boss. The change of heart was sparked by top target Brendan Rodgers’ demands. The former Swansea and Liverpool boss had emerged as favourite for the post and was believed to be discussing terms.
    However, Rodgers was also talking to Celtic about becoming their new manager. Rodgers told Jenkins about the talks with the Scottish champions and it caused a rift between the pair.

    Mcguire - I told u over 6 months ago who the club approached to be our next manager. Ronny was always out of here after the European results. The talks have taken place but still a few things to be agreed. We will find out by next Weds if both parties have come to an agreement. Let's hope they have.
