i wonder if lennon may be part of any back room staff keane would make, not sure he has his own, also not sure lennon would do it.

Surely to * we should have enough standing in the football world left to convince an out of work, self-confessed Celtic supporting manager to come and have a crack at the Champions League and skelping that Deadco mob at least 4x a year over a team in a cash rich league who's main remit will be to finish mid table and try and go as far as they can in a cup competition.......surely????

Swansea have just beat liverpool 3-0 and West Ham 4-1 away from home why they even considering getting rid of a manager after results like that I'll never no

 

I agree but unfortunately for us money and ego dictate that the EPL is the place to be. On double or treble what we offer plus probably ten times the budget. The EPL has that much money now people like Shaquiri are playing for stoke. Its madness. I think we should be scanning all markets for a manager but the board will be toast if it doesnt work out. So it will be a decent name with a celtic background, a lambert, lennon or keane.

 

If Rodgers has a straight choice between us and Swansea it will be an easy one for him imo, and it won't be us unfortunately.

 

I blame Leicester. Them winning the epl has all these managers thinking they can take any mickey mouse team to the title now.

Roy Keane certainly wouldn't' be my first choice as manager but I would rather have him than Steve Clarke, Paul Lambert or Malky Mackay. The thought of caravanning in Ayr excites me more than the thought of any of those three coming here.

 

roy keane maybe a good appointment, celtic fan, big name in football, but the mans a *! the type of guy who would start fighting with players on the football field bit like di canio

 

Rodgers is on 5 million a year just now because of the liverpool fiasco and he has 2 years left with this....hes not coming and we cant afford that.

Moyes Will take the Villa or Everton job.

O'Neill wont take it,hes done that challenge and had players like Larsson/Sutton etc at his disposal.

My money personally is now on Alex Neil....if they go down he will take it if asked.

Outsider.......Hiddink? done it all, out of a job, worked on all levels,doesnt need the money personally.
