According to the BBC, Rodgers is set to become Swansea manager again on £90k p/w.

We cant compete with that and im guessing he wont come for the "project" or for the love of the club.

Rodgers is overrated anyway, Klopp has done more at Liverpool already than Rodgers did in the years he was there, Rodgers had a much better group of players as well.

Apparently its sourced from the Daily Star and based on Rodgers being asked to come back when Monk was sacked and him (Rodgers) telling Jenkins he wanted a break from football until the summer.

So there you go, might not be set in stone given its from a tabloid.

BBC doesnt say that. BBC gossip column says that, ie the papers say that. Oh no, not the papers, the Daily Star.

How many people thought that about Leicester City?

With the amount of money getting pumped into the Epl, who knows what could happen. Swansea are a good well run club and with a good manager could do really well, perhaps not a Leicester but maybe on a par with West Ham.

Much bigger wage than we can offer. Much bigger transfer budget to build the sort of team he wants. The chance to repair his reputation in a league that people actually pay attention to.

Pit his wits against Klopp, Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte as opposed to Hartley, Canning, McIness and Neilson. Take his team to Old Trafford and the Emirates or take them to Dingwall and Dens.

I really couldn't give a * about the EPL, but it's a far bigger draw than we are. No point pretending otherwise.
