Sunderland was touching on 10 year ago, working with the biggest budget in the championship and was ultimately sacked. Last managerial appointment...sacked. From Ipswich.

Doing 'very well' as you put it, as a number 2 does not equate to being a good Celtic manager.

Mowbray and Moyes are not comparable for me. Even if they were, the fact that one failed does not mean Moyes shouldn't be touched. Moyes and Rodgers are the two outstanding candidates, whatever way you look at it.

We'd be as well bringing back Lennon before Keane.

For the record as well, Moyes would also sell season tickets.

The only thing he has ever done right. 1 season wonder. We've seen plenty of them in football.
After that he was gash. Spunked over £40million on players and then he * off.
As he always does when the going gets tough.
Odd for such a 'hard man'.

His reputation made those players play for him. Then his old arrogance returned and everywhere he has gone since he's done square root of * all.

I actually want Keane before Moyes.

Simply because I don't know if I can handle another year or two of Venglos moaning like * about the manager! :smiley-laughing002:

So? Does that change the fact he walked out on Man Utd, Ireland, Sunderland and Ipswich?
    Nope.

Keane's so called success is sunderland is a myth.

He was given 70M....70M and that was in 2006. My dog could have got sunderland promoted with that. The following season he escaped relegation by 3 points despite having a way bigger budget and a better team than most other middling clubs.

i am not saying he is my number one choice, far from it, but to be ruling him out is crazy imo.

    Ok then.

Not every manager who has been sacked before has proven to be a volatile, inexperienced, uncontrollable character who has little to nothing on his CV that makes you want him as a Celtic manager, especially at this point when a big appointment is needed to bring stability.

Using that as an argument is laughable:smiley-laughing002: "Other managers have been sacked therefore Keane can't be criticised"

The only reason he is in the ruling is because DD has a hard on for him.
Not because he is decent manager.
