DD should be begging MON to come back to Celtic given that he is out of contract after the euros altho Everton are said to be interested in him.

I would take Rodgers, he's work at Swansea shows he can do well here.

I think he's Liverpool career was decent even though that might be against popular opinion.

He was so close to winning the league with them, then people harp on about ach well he had Suarez that's why, I say that's fair enough but one man does not a team make. It was Rodgers that got them there.

Well we have our very own Leigh Griffiths for Rodgers to depend on - plus he turned that little * Sterling into a what £30m player?

Rodgers would be a monumental success here with Celtic, the hard-on I have at the thought of him becoming our manager is * throbbin!

If Rodgers came to celtic I'd actually think something is wrong. Our board, actually spending money!?! Did we win the euro millions? Has that were all our budget has been going? Punt 4 million on euro million tickets to win the 50? :56:

    Yes.
    It looks that way.
The longer it goes ( Euros), the more it is pointing that way.

Can't see it being Roy Keane, I don't think he'd be a popular appointment like MON, Rogers or Moyes.

Personally still keeping my fingers crossed Rogers will go for it with a passion.

Moyes would be a very dull unimaginative appointment with a boring style of defensive and negative football.

I think Rodgers is a pipe dream.

Keane would fire up the troops and the dressing room.

    What would Keane be then?

I can't get my head round anyone who would genuinely take Roy Keane over David Moyes. Sorry.

The only reason I see for people wanting Keane is the one you have just given. "He'd fire up the troops" when he is also well known for * players right off.

It would be a risk of an appointment just like Deila. Yet I bet you wouldn't see folk moaning about the board taking it because it's "Roy Keane".

You need to think about it as well. Moyes would NOT play defensive football domestically. Why do you think he often had to go defensive for Everton? Because for many years they were not even a top 10 side in England never mind top 6, which is what he transformed them into.

Coming here he'd have the biggest side in the country with the supposed best squad, he's not stupid. He knows what we'd expect and what he would have to do. He couldn't play defensive even if he wanted to given how the opposition set up against us domestically.

RoyKeane has been a failure at every job he's been number 1.

If Desmond appoints him then we'll be needing a new manager within one season.

This guy cant handle a simple media questions without being a confrontational aggressive *... whats he gonna do when the SMSM start yanking his very short chain.

Failure as a manager, * as a person.

Keane would only * off players who deserve to be * off, the slackers :smiley-laughing002:

Keane would put bums on seats, sell season tickets and would be the start of a new era for Celtic.

Keane did very well at Sunderland and is doing well with Ireland as No.2.
He is the right fit for a club management job like Celtic now.
Moyes is on a downwards trajectory. We went through all that * with Mowbray before.
    No thanks.
