It's clear that DD is keen on Keane, but is Keane keen ?

I think Keane would do a similar job to Lennon, at least I'd expect the defense to be fairly solid and midfield organised. I do think he'd upset a few players when he came in though, which may or may not be a disaster.

Desmond wanted Keane last time and he told him to shove it
I just don't see us getting 2-3 seasons out of Keane he's a bad run of form away from leaving us mid-season

I'd hope Keane would do a really good job here. If he was to go back into management in the English Championship or something I don't think it would work out for him, but at Celtic, the team he supports where he'll be winning 2/3s to 3/4s of the time, I feel like it could build his confidence and start to build something good here. It's like Neil Lennon- I don't see him being a big managerial success elsewhere. Had he joined someone like Nottingham Forest instead of us in 2010, I see him flopping. But sometimes Celtic is the just the right club for somebody.

Roy Keane can go * himself.

He has absolutely NOTHING to offer us. The players would hate him, the media would hate him and we would hate him within months then he'd walk and we're back to square one again.

    Pointless appointment.

To be fair... He was obviously asked what he thinks about that as a possibility and he was hardly gonna go slag off his backroom staff

Feel * gutted for Ronny again seeing him looking a bit awkward celebrating winning a title. Nobody should have to feel awkward about winning a title anywhere.

Yeh feel bad for him, it was a horrendous season at times not totally his fault but he is a good guy and hope the fans dont * and moan and allow him to leave on a good high, he has every right to celebrate.

We don't want a leader, we want someone who makes us all leaders.

In your avatar is a guy who made us all leaders. I'm not expecting someone of that stature but the principle remains the same. You can see it in Tierney's face when we're losing, he's a leader.
