    Hang on lads!!!

Laurie from Dennistoun wants Owen Coyle...

Although... He's a bit senile so he might have meant John Barnes....

    Wouldn't touch Coyle myself..

Not since he cut us up in his big white Range Rover coming out the car park after the last Barca home game ..

    Plus he'd be a * Celtic manager.

The ball was in keanes court though and he said no after speaking to Desmond.

It's all guessing games but the bookies have obviously shat it because he announced leaving Blackburn and have put two and two together

Celtic are set to make Brendan Rodgers an offer to be their new manager, according to reports in Wales.

Wales Online are reporting that Rodgers is on the verge of returning to Swansea City but that Celtic are set to swoop with an 11th hour offer for the former Liverpool boss.

Rodgers is ready to return to management having taken short break following his departure from Anfield in October of this season.

Swansea are reportedly keen to bring him back to the Liberty Stadium. Rodgers had a very successful two-year spell as manager at the Welsh club, leading them to promotion in his first term before comfortably steering clear of relegation in the top flight, all the while playing an attractive brand of football.

He is rumoured to be top of Celtic’s wish list. While the Parkhead club may lose out to the lure of once again managing in the English Premier League, they can at least offer the coach an opportunity at Champions League football.

Brendan Rodgers would be acceptable. He certainly would be an upgrade on both Deila or Lambert.

I think he was a better manager with Liverpool than he was made out to be, just got a bit unlucky at the end.

Imagine you're BR, 2 jobs are on the table, the Celtic job and an EPL club.

The EPL club offers a far better wage, a better quality League and a millions to spend on new players.

Celtic offer a bite at the CL, but with limited funds to spend on players how realistic would this be ?

Gotta take into account European football he could be at Swansea 5 years and get none or come to us for 4 years and get to the group stage 4 times

Brendan would be a WoW appointment.
He already is a multi millionaire I would imagine.
It would depend how much Celtic means to him.
But remember both Coyle and Keane boyhood Celtic supporters both turned us down before.
Things are not the same as they used to be.
