Who would be your replacement for Ronny?

I know. I'm just saying with the current disenchantment at the club, I don't think Lambert would do very much to quell that.

 

But yet you were happy to put the blame at Lennons feet for relegating Bolton who have zero funds and very little quality in their squad?

 

I am not convinced about "good candidates". I think that because of the state of SPFL and our poor European record, managing us does not carry the same kudos as it does to us Bhoys& Ghirls. I think our catchment are those currently out of a job and only then if they don't get a position elsewhere. Apart from Lenny & Malky I'm not sure anyone has actually said they would be interested in becoming the new Manager. A few have given the "if I'm asked to talk to Celtic, OK", but nothing else.

 

Well yeah Lennon had a pre-season and full season Lambert had about 4 months at the club

Does anyone pay attention to the odds? I remember Keane went to 1/4 before Ronny got the job.

 

It mostly goes by what people are putting on. A couple big bets go on Keane, odds drop, people notice and think something is up, more money is put on, odds drop again etc etc

Nope & I'm almost certain it's going to be Keane anyway. Desmond is going to take full control of this appointment. He sounded Keane out previously so obviously fancied him & we plumped for Ronny instead which went * up. This will further DD belief he should have pushed for Keane in the first place & he will probably think it's the big name the fans are looking for.

As for Keane I don't want him but I think it would come at the right time for him in his career & he'd take it.

Bookies odds mean nothing except loads of folk have put bets on.

Keane was offered the job there usually is no smoke without fire.

 

Lambert has left for a reason imo he must have been contacted no1 leaves a 2 year contract early without another gig lined up
