Lambo is totally correct about the SPL not being big enough. Even two more teams added to the two top tiers would be enough to give the other bigger teams a chance to properly establish themselves, put roots down and be more competative in Europe, which is what we need.

Saying that, as much as I love Lambo, and like others have said, his Villa team were absolutely dreadful. Really; very, very negative football. So no thanks.

I take it from that that you aren't a fan of Lambo? Tbf, he did get Norwich promoted twice so it's not like he's a failure but I'd say he could definitely improve his style of play.

I wouldn't be against Lambert while it wasn't pretty at Villa I assume he had to adapt to what he had at his disposal, player wise, and given the teams he faced. Did he not ,at Norwich, play decent football ? Or am I showing signs of old age here :54:

What makes lambert a worse option than mackay or clarke. He would be a good appointment- jesus look at villa now and people are saying they were murder to watch. By the looks of it the man was performing a * miracle, relegated this year with 16 points so far. He did excellent at norwich to. People holding out for rodgers have their head in the clouds it isnt going to happen.

I don't know if anyone could be worse than McKay. I can't believe he's even still being mentioned in the same breath as Celtic. The guy is a complete scumbag.

To be fair, in Lamberts first two seasons I stuck up for him a * of a lot while Villa fans were calling for his head. While he did play some decent stuff with a Norwich side getting back to back promotions and surviving in the Premier League. So it mightn't be all that bad.

He did very well with Norwich. His move to villa was just fact that club are a basket case. He's not really recovered since.

    Mackay over Lambert for me.

I imagine most like-minded caucasians would be the same.

Rodgers is never coming to celtic- he will get a job in the epl in the summer. Probably go back to swansea.

Any manager worth their salt (and out of a job) should definitely see the Celtic post as an attractive position.

    • Excellent chance at winning silverware
    • Opportunity to qualify for the Champions League
    • Possible decent funding
    • Sevco
    • Huge fanbase/exposure
    • Chance to build reputation at a huge club

Moyes or Rodgers I think if they could resist the temptations of £££ from mid-low EPL clubs would jump at the chance.

i get why people saying no lambo after villa, but he been to blackburn no money at all, villa no money at all, a team that has 4 managers and each one has struggled to get a result, he done well at norwich, and i think he be excellent choice, ex celtic man, people that have worked with him, have him in high regard, so why not at end of the day, back the manager and he could do well for us, as for rogers, no chance we will get him wages to high, not enough excitement in league he be at epl next season for sure, wouldnt want mackay though, not after what has happened with him, and moyes no chance again wages and he be at epl side next season, already had lennon, so id go with lambert and see what he can do as long as back him and get ride of useless free loaders at the club in summer
