You'd think so, though it'd depend how much DD and Lawwell care about the qualifiers. :smiley-laughing002:

With Moyes I'm worried the recent spate of seemingly poor performances will kind of taint his aura. Might take away a bit of his fear factor or respect. With the squad the way it is, we need a guy who is going to sweep in a command the respect of this group of players, and get them playing as a team again. No matter who we bring in, we know there's going to be little investment so what we've got we need to get working.

I'd be absolutely appalled if Keane came in though - he may be a great no.2 and be good at firing a team up, but his managerial career is horrendous and has been proven to create disharmony in squads with opposing characters.

Over the last 10 years, some of the best football i've seen was under Lenny. He may not be the exotic choice but he's done it before, and at the highest level. If he returns I would hope it would be with at least some budget, because he has a track record of success with the club, therefore is less of a risk - and we're the most risk averse club in the feckin world it seems.

Good man :50:You won't be disappointed if we get Clarke.
Don't listen to Kerrydale, they don't have any good sources.
They just like to talk through a hole in their hat.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but Deila namechecked Brendan Rodgers as a potential successor in the Telegraph today. Strange he would be so specific to name someone. Not someone who has been mentioned much but maybe been lost amongst all the moyes/keane talk

The more I think of it and the situation where we find ourselves, I have no idea who I want. I just know who I don't want. No, Malky, Keane, Stubbs or Larsson. The later three I wouldn't mind as an assistant. I just don't think they're ready for what we need to take the full responsibility to handle what will be a very tricky period. Malky, no. Just, no.

I have a feeling it'll be a make-or-break choice by the board though.

How is Stubbs in contention? Hibs form has been pretty bad the last couple of months.. He'd be no improvement on Ronny imo

Stubbs would be a step backwards in my opinion. I don't think he will be getting considered to be honest. I would hope not anyway.

While I've got a funny feeling it'll be Moyes, if it's not him or Clarke I'll be pretty disappointed.

Keane would be a success for about 3 games and then we'd have another internal revolt.
